It's been  two days since Veenece was abducted by Lucas. Raeco was not himself since then. He searched for their possible location and every time he finds nothing, its like his world is crashing down.

I don't want to see him in this state. He is not the Raeco I used to know. The Raeco who is so full of himself. The Raeco who is so optimistic. The Raeco who said everything  will be fine. The Raeco who comforted me. The one who said that I should not wallow in my pain.

He became different. I understand, now, how he cared about Veenece. He loves her. I can't win against her. And I can't exceed her. I sighed deep. I just want Raeco to be back to his old self.

"You're in your broken heart again."

I looked up to Phearo who is in front of me. He is still rude sometimes but he became my older brother. We argue sometimes when he is training me but we end up laughing together. And flying becomes our hobby!

"I just don't want him to lose his sanity. If we can't find Veenece sooner, he might lose it."

"Aren't you happy that Veenece is out of the story?"

I jolted up on my feet and I poked him on his chest.

"I am not like that!" I thought he can understand what I'm feeling but he is not! "I want her back too. To bring him back to his old self."

He laugh at my outburst. How can he laugh? He is back to his rude self again. Like my sister when she is teasing me.

"I am just making sure that your genuine heart is not contaminated."

"You are the one tainting it!"

I pout to him and he just grins. Then his face turned serious. It is like he had sense something dangerous as he turned to look around.

"What is it?"

I hide behind his back and squint over. Looking to the direction his eyes was focused on.

"The sword, it was already defiled." He said in a very serious tone. "It became the sword of destruction. The Mistress of Death has it."

"What? How did you know?"

"I can feel it."

"Who is the Mistress of Death?"

He turned to me and locks his eyes on mine. His hands were tightly gripping both my shoulders.

"She will kill you when she knows about who you really are. The only thing we should do is to conceal our identity while we search for the sword."

His words got me curious again. He knows what I am. What we are. But he is keeping it a secret. He's been like this since we found the sword.

"Why are you so concerned about the sword?"

He turn his back to me. Again, he is evading my question regarding the sword. I walked in front of him. He diverted his eyes. He knows something!

"What is it?" He walks away and I followed him tugging his hand. "You know who the Gryphon Warrior is?"

He just gave me a tried look and continue on his route. Huh, you think I will let you slip this time, I won't! I'll keep on pestering him but he just lift me up on the sky. We landed on the Academy's balcony and he dragged me inside the Council's Room.

He did not even bother knocking and we went straight inside. The Professors stopped on their meeting and their eyes was glued on us.

"We are going to find the sword."
He announced abruptly.
