~ Academy ~

Everywhere around is a mess. The once glamorous architecture of the Academy turned into a grotesquely battleground. The walls has fallen down. The western tower was already ruined. Wounded Warriors struggling on the ground.

But they are still fighting 'til their very last breath. Fallen Warriors scattered on the ground. We all felt hopeless but we can't show it on our faces. We, the Professors, should not show discouragement. If we lose to our fears, the Warriors loses their also. We should be brave.

It is a good thing that the Shallows are still unable to enter the Academy's main building. If so, the Chancellor and the fatally wounded Warriors would be in a great danger. Lucas, as we assumed as the Gryphon Warrior, is still out of presence. We needed him now more than ever.

He can stop this chaos created by the Mistress of Death. And he can prevent the Black Dragon from awakening. I know he despises us, but we are still family. All Warriors inside the Academy's wall are family.

"Professor Rose!" I look down to Professor Hilton. "Auryn went with Raeco and everyone to save the villagers. Did you know that?"

I was about to fly to the villagers but when another batch of Shallows assaults us, I cannot leave them while still in danger.

"I specifically told her to stay with Chancellor. She is so stubborn."

"Don't worry, her Spirit Guardian appeared on time. She will be safe. I told Raeco to safe guard her."

Then he went back to his position. The entrance of the Academy is barely guarded, with the walls ruined, the Shallows can escape their hold. These Shallows becomes more powerful than the last time. They can create an aura of black energy and delivers a blow to us.

I glided down when I saw a bleeding Warrior. I stand in front of him and swing my sword around, killing the Shallows swiftly. I took him up and drop him on the Academy's balcony.

"Professor, duck down!" Before I could even react, Professor Ravenous throws his reaper forward.

It passes right up to my head. Almost! I swivelled and saw his weapon landed on the Shallow's heart. He walks towards my direction and offers a hand.

"You are still unable to fight, Professor!"

He set his eyes straightforward. "I just save you, Professor. Let us go and aid our Warriors."

He jump out of the balcony. I immediately spread my wings and catches him on time before he could land on the ground. Just like his grandson.

Always acting on their own.

He manuevered his reaper below and when he pulled it, the Shallows fall in a row and fades away. He glanced back and throws his dagger killing another Shallow. We landed on the ground once clear. He look up on the Eastern tower.

"The Archers won't last long. They are growing tired. The war worsened when the Western tower was blasted."

He is right. But him, pushing his self to the limit just to help us protect the Academy is not a wise decision! Age is one more thing that affects our fighting skills.

"No time for lectures, Professor." He points to our enemies. "We have unwelcome visitors."

He aimed his reaper to the approaching Shallow and threw his dagger at the end. He catches his reaper and nailed it in every Shallow near him. Professor Ravenous is great in close fight. He really is a big help.

At the corner of my eyes, I saw Professor Schwitz was caught by one of the Shallows. It was sucking out her life!

What the heck happened to her?
