"Auryn, that's the Fox Guardian Warrior right?"
Toby drag me with him as he run to the training ground where my fellow Guardian Warriors are. He is the kid we met in the woods.
"Wait, we can't go there!"
I gently pulled him to slow down. I just thought that after everything that happened, the kid needs a break that's why I decided to tour him around.
"I want to see them fight. They look mighty on their armors!"
He look so excited and I can't help but to beam. I remember, me and my sister always wanted a younger brother and here is Toby acting one. My sister will surely adore him.
"Okay, but we stay on the benches."
We sat on the farthest bench to avoid any accident. The Warriors here are in their armor which means it is hazardous for ordinary people. They will combat with their full strength and power.
"Ow, that hurts!"
Toby exclaimed when Edward, the Fox Guardian Warrior he was so amazed of, flipped down his opponent.
His opponent got up and strike him with his pike sword. He disarmed him swiftly declaring that he is the winner.
"Rheena is looking for the kid. You should return him."
It was Lucas standing beside me. He always shows up wherever I was.
"Let's go, Toby. We don't want Rheena to get worried." I gently pull his hand.
"So soon? I still want to watch him."
He pouts in dismay while pointing to Edward.
"Why are you so into him?" Lucas pick him up in his arms. Toby did not let go of my hand, so I walk beside Lucas.
"Because he is sooo amazing!" He chirps.
"Kiddo, I am more amazing than him."
Lucas commented which makes Toby frown. "I am the strongest Guardian Warrior here."
"Is it true, Auryn?" He squint to me.
"He's just bluffing."
Lucas stops in front of me.
"I am not bluffing."
"What is your Spirit Guardian?" Toby asked turning Lucas's face to him.
"I am the Eagle Guardian Warrior."
He smirks when Toby's eyes glistens. I can't believe Lucas has this childish act. He really had changed.
"Which means you can fly?"
Lucas shifts to his armor bragging his wide wings behind him and Toby was more than amazed.
"Can you take me up there?" He points upward.
"Lucas, don't you dare. It's dangerous."
I butted in before he could boast even more.
But to my surprise, he wrap his arms to my waist and pulled us up. I quickly clings to him to secure myself. He peek to me and my eyes sent daggers on him but he just smirk then tightens his hold on my waist.
We glide down when we saw the villagers gathered on the open field of the Academy.
"Lucas!" Professor Ravenous snarls. "What are you doing?"
"I just entertained the kid. It's not everyday that someone like him encounters a Guardian Warrior."
"But it was reckless!" I punch his arm when he put Toby down. "What if one of us falls?"
