Loud gasps were heard when Archadia charged Auryn with our sword, our full power circulating it shining in blue. Everyone was expecting her to be thrown away but a dazzling golden light oozed from her.

When the light finally fades, we are all dumbfounded as we witness the Gryphon's sword in Auryn's hands. The mystical cursed sword in the hands of a weak Guardian Warrior. Well, that's how everyone referred her before.

So, that's what the glowing light is all about.

Auryn pushed Archadia backwards using the sword. She is not in her armor but she has the sword. With it's mighty power! The Gryphon's sword is more stunning than the last time I saw it. Everytime her sword clashes with ours, a golden aura was released sending Archadia in her disadvantage.

She's that strong!

Archadia tried to attack her from the sky but she swings her sword and sends her a fatal blow. Archadia barely managed to dodge it. Archadia landed in front of her and kneeled down. She lowered her head and rest her right hand on her heart. Our sword was thrust in the ground beside her.

My Great Spirit Guardian!

Archadia has so much pride in her, she refused to follow orders. Even from the Councils. She follows her own rules and obey her own orders. Maybe because Eagle is the king of sky. And she is an Eagle. But she is bowing in front of someone who lost her Spirit Guardian!

"My Mistress"

Auryn takes a step backward while looking at her.

"Whoah, wait! What do you mean 'your Mistress' "?

Archadia keep her head down as she speak. I walk towards them.
"I was entrusted of your protection by the Great Phearo."

"You know him?"

"Yes, my Mistress. I am one of his servant, Archadia the Eagle."

I offered her my handkerchief. She was bathed in her own sweat. She hesitates first, but when another thick sweat fall from her forehead, she accepts it.

"Why don't we free the prisoners first before she" I point to Archadia, "explain everything."

I put emphasis when I spoke those words to her. This is the explanation she awes me. She just let me assault everyone in the Academy without enlightening me.

"But I don't know." She set her eyes on the sword. "And this sword? Why do I have it?"

"First, just imagine the barrier to be cleared in your head." Archadia is still kneeling on the ground. She did not even dare to look at her. "He left you the sword because he knows you will need it."

When Auryn takes down the barrier, the Councils and all the Guardian Warriors surrounds us. Raeco and Toki aggressively hold me by the arm.

"Why are you taking it on me?" But their angry faces did not changed. "I am just following Archadia's order. She threatened me to do it."

"We had enough of your lies, Lucas!"

I glanced to my grandfather who is looking at me intently.

"Gramps, I did not plan this. This time I'm telling the truth."

His eyes softened when I called him that name again. I know I awe him a long explanation.

"Not old man" Toki mocked beside me.

Before I could answer him back the Chancellor waved his hand on us. I will deal with them later.

"You are the Gryphon Warrior?"
