I am back here in the garden with the Chancellor. I showed him that I can catch butterflies, effortlessly. Finally!
He said I was just lucky. I tried to catch again and I guess luck never leave my side this time. Every butterfly he points to, I catches them all! After four days, finally! I can!
"Now, tell me how did you caught the butterflies?"
Ahm, is this my exam question now?
"I just focused on them. I became one of my surroundings. I try to imitate the wind when it blows and I listen to the sound of silence."
He did not say anything. His brows met in confusion while he stares to me.
"Did I say something, uhm, weird?" I shrug my shoulders.
"No. What you said is right." He puts his chin on his palms while he sit. "How did you know to imitate the wind."
I just heard it in my head.
But if I say that, he might say I'm crazy.
"I guess it will make it easier. If I move when the wind blows, the butterflies won't notice my movement."
"You're smart, child."
He is smiling with satisfaction on his face. Of course, I'm smart. I got awards when I was still studying. I was accelerated when I was in high school, that is why I graduated at an early age.
"The presence of silence is your next lesson."
Then something was thrown in me. I quickly move to dodge it. Thanks to Raeco! He used to train me by throwing a ball and learning to dodge it.
"Easy, isn't it?"
I smiled to him as an answer. He stands up and hands me a handkerchief.
"What will I do with this?"
"Blindfold yourself."
What?
"Why?"
"It is part of your training. Come on, cover your eyes now."
I was still confused on what he wants me to do but I followed his instruction. When I was done tying the handkerchief, I was hit by a ball out of nowhere. All I can see is black!
"You need to avoid the ball or catch it. If you can."
"I can't see the ball!" Then it hit me again. "But I can feel it."
"Silence will guide you, just concentrate. Now, try to avoid this."
Is he going to throw me the ball again? I try to focus where it could come from. Maybe from my front. I step aside but it hits my shoulder.
"You've learned to used silence and concentration in catching the butterflies. You have to mastered it on your offense, try it to strengthen your defense."
And like an insane woman, I try to move without seeing anything. I trip on my feet. I fell down. And of course, I was hit by the ball repeatedly.
At first, it was not painful. But every time it landed on the same spot, I can feel my skin getting red hot! I guess this will be a very tiring and painful day.

"How is she doing, Chancellor?"
Right after there training I followed Chancellor Barnabee to his office to check on Auryn. She is precious to my friend and I will cherish and protect her the way Alicia wants it to be.
