Originally, I plan to update last December 31 but it became a very day for me. Hope you like it!!

"Do we need to talk to him?"

Caren whispered while pointing to Lucas. He is helping the villagers picking up their scattered things. While the Toki, Shaun and Raeco are helping the others fixing their hut's roof. I and Caren are offering some drinks to them.

"You don't need to, if you don't want. I know what you're feeling."

"But isn't it so awkward if we will not notice him?" She offered a cup of water to the kids. "And this tension from him and Raeco is making it harder!"

Yeah, it is obvious that he don't want Lucas. He is acting like there is no Lucas around while Lucas is just being himself. Not minding Raeco's problem on him.

"Some of the kids are hungry already. I'll take this for them." Veenece took the basket full of bread and give it to the kids gathered on the corner.

I forgot to tell that she and her team is with us. Raeco insisted that we will have a joint team with her to secure her safety.

"You know, I knew that you have a thing for Raeco."

I immediately turn to her with a shock eyes then I averted my eyes on Lucas.

Did he told her? But they're not close.

"Don't worry, I also fall for him when we first met. He is so kind I have mistaken it to be something else." She admitted, laughing.

"He just care to everyone."

I look at Raeco who is on top of the hut while Toki is passing him a hammer. He really look dashing even under the tormenting sun.

"Isn't he a sight to see?" Caren said dreamily when Raeco wiped his sweat.

"Ahm, you know," I point to Veenece who is not far from us, "his girlfriend is right there."

"If I were Veenece, I will really guard him to ward off insects. But they are both too nice. I guess they are perfect for each other." But she did not even turn to look on Veenece.

"Caren, you're drooling on me!"

Shaun yells to her and everyone's attention was turned to us. The dreamy eyes of Caren turn to flames when it settled on Shaun. She pass me her tray and shoot him with her arrow.

He grab the arrow before it hits his face. "A shot of love, Cupid?"

Everyone giggled on what he said. Their gloomy expression lessened. The villagers are teasing them already and Shaun seems to enjoy it while Caren is turning into a flaming phoenix, ready to roast Shaun.

Shaun was about to tease her again when Toki hit him.

"That guy really like you." Said the old woman sitting on the wooden bench folding fabrics.

"Uh, no. I'm not into monkeys." Caren shakes her head while giving her a cup of water.

The old woman knowingly smiled to her. She is also thinking the same idea as me. I guess, these two will make it someday. When Shaun stops annoying Caren.

We walk towards the men villagers to offer them something to quench the hot rays of the sun. Veenece went to Raeco who just came down from the roof. She wiped off his sweat with a towel. Caren is right. They are perfect for each other.
