"Archadia, are you sure the Gryphon Warrior is inside the Academy?"

Yes, I am certain and you know her.

My brows met in confusion. How could I know her? And if I had known her, I should have sense it.

You cannot sense it because you are blinded.

The Lady of the Lake's words hit me. It was when I was still in my mother's cursed. But I felt the swords aura when is saw it. It's immense power banged my whole system. And Auryn felt it too.

"Auryn!"

She looks weird that day. As if she was pulled by the sword, like she has a connection with it. If I recall it right, when she walked towards the grave that day, the sword was pulled out of the ground and it light becomes brighter. I thought she was just overwhelmed by it's power. Like what happened to me, since we also assumed her to be an Eagle Guardian Warrior. But is not what we all presumed.

"Auryn is the Gryphon Warrior?"

Archadia comes out of my body. She has a serious expression on her face.

"Yes" she said frankly, "and we shall keep her safe. It is our duty as a servant of the Gryphon."

"You said awhile back that he asked a favor." She nods. "What do you mean by that?"

"She is on her own, now. The loud chirping we heard is him asking for us. He knows this will happen. Her Spirit Guardian was fatally wounded."

"That means, he is dying?" She did not answer. "Dead already?"

"We will leave tomorrow and find her. We have a mission on her."

Then she fades in the dark. I still cannot believe that Auryn is the legendary mythical Guardian Warrior. When I first saw her, they said she was rejected by her Spirit Guardian that is why she was trained to be strong physically. And when it appeared again , he still refused to accept her.

But he begins training her. He even taught her to be confident on the sky. Maybe, rejecting her is part of her training. I assumed we have the same Spirit Guardian, even if it was only rare. It turned out that she is more than that. Far way more than I.

When the sun rises, Archadia is already outside waiting for me. If she is in this state, it only means that our mission is very important. She turned to me with a glaring eyes as I walk out of my hut.

"You are late! We can't waste time!"

"Hey, relax! It is only seven in the morning."

"It is late already. We need to go to her as soon as possible!"

Then she clawed me up on the sky. She is in her animal form. She glided towards the Academy. I know they will be surprise to see me. They might even hate me. But it is all because of my foolishness. Oh, I am already expecting a warm welcome from Raeco for hitting Veenece.

She chirps out when we glide down to it's open ground. All the Warriors and the Council's comes out, eyes on us. I jump off her back and she transformed to her human form.

"Where is she?" She asked immediately.

"Lucas"

It was my grandfather! I was about to walk towards him when Archadia gives me a warning glare. She elegantly shakes her head. I frowned to her.

"Not now. Later. After our business with her." She whispers.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

It was Raeco. His eyes are burning with anger. He secures Veenece on his side while she calms him down.

"I am here for Auryn."
