It took some time for the kid to explain but here's the gist of it. A coup de'tat was raised against the current royal family of the Fairy Tribe by the trusted minister of the king himself. The king was killed since most of the people of authority were won over by that minister. Erician didn't go into details and even tried to cover up things but it seems that his father was opressing the other people through impossible taxes so it seems he really did deserved to be replaced. Although that's one of the reasons, I'm pretty sure there's more to it.

Anyway, as the sole heir go the throne, the minister wants to have Erician killed. However, he managed to escape through the help of the other nobles who still remains loyal to the royal bloodline. Now, he want my help to punish the traitors as well as regain the throne that was supposed to be his. He also promised that there would be reinforcements from others but I doubt that's true. I mean, he was chased all the way in here without anyone helping him after all.

"And what makes you think I can help you with that?" My instant reply to his story.

I don't even know how strong the enemies are. Moreover, I really don't want to involve myself in politics in a world I don't even belong to. Besides...

"What can I get from it?" I ended up saying that line which a lot of bad guys normally would say in movies.

"W-well, we have treasures? Artifacts and things like that," Erician tried to stay confident while speaking.

I'm pretty sure a mere crown prince does not have the ability to take out the precious treasures of the entire fairy tribe but oh well, let's give him a chance to speak.

"Do you have that kind of treasure which makes me something similar to human?" I immediately started voicing out my desire. To recover my human body is the only thing I really want right now.

"N-no. We don't have anything like that Your Highness," He looks a little lost while replying. As I thought, my request is indeed a little weird.

Seeing me making my bat face turn fiercer than before though, he instantly makes a follow up statement. "But we have something that can accelerate your evolution though. There's only one vial left but if you drink the Life Gathering Potion from our castle's treasury, you'll be one step closer to reaching your next evolutionary forms."

A potion that makes the next evolutionary forms easier to reach means increasing my levels. Isn't that the same as experience points multipliers from games?

"Do I get an evolutionary form related to something with a human body if I drink that?" I quickly write on the air.

"U-um Your Highness. There's no way it's something that powerful. A creature's evolutionary forms still depends on their base form after all. However, since you already have a humanoid body right now then you'll probably become a vampire or something similar to that in the future," Erician explains.

I see, I see. Even if it's only that, shortening the time needed to level up is already fine. However, there's also the matter about the strength of the enemies. Is fighting against an unknown enemy a wise move?

Becoming human or living the rest today my life as a monster bat. It seems the answer is obvious.

"Alright, alright. But not immediately, alright?" A sigh escapes my mouth while I'm writing on the air.

A delighted expression paints the little prince's face. He keeps thanking me a lot with an excited expression on his face. The bright smile on his face enhances his already beautiful features. Should I just hand over him to the guards?

But ah! Now I've done it. It's gonna be dangerous from now on and I may lose my life in the process but hey! If push really comes to shove, I can always just take this kid as a hostage or make a run for it, right?

I don't know how exactly wide this floor is but we've been flying for almost half an hour but there's only more and more trees in the distance. We met a few flying monsters but thankfully, none of them were strong enough to cause any major trouble.

While flying, I can't help but notice the differences between my way of flight and Erician's. It was probably because he's royalty but even when the wind blew harshly on our faces, he's still able to manage his elegant demeanor. To this kind of disposition, I can't help but flash my fangs towards him with an accompanying hiss. His relaxed expression breaks into a flustered one which then satisfies my envious heart.

Finally, we landed upon a small clearing. There seems to be no village of fairies in sight so I decided this place to be our temporary hideout. When we landed, we scared a few little animals away. So even in this depths, normal creatures still actually exist, huh?

I turn my eyes away form them and waved my hands. Five wormholes appeared on the air and from them, bat monsters starts emerging. Red rings with the same number as the wormholes also appear right after. The rings then starts capturing the bats. After that, the usual process of transformation occurs.

"Ohh! Isn't that the Subordination Skill that only high level monsters and demons can use? I've heard of its effects before but it's my first time seeing it," Erician suddenly speaks. He then approaches one of my newly acquired underlings with a curious expression.

Subordination skill? He must have misunderstood. What I used was the Summon Bat skill.

I started writing on the air to ask about this skill and after a quick look at the words, Erician quickly replies. "Subordination skill uses the same rings to enslave creatures and grant them a boost in their powers."

Such a simple explanation but I can easily understand how it works. If the Subordination skill works like that then can I cheat my Summon Bats skill to achieve the same effect? I guess it doesn't hurt to try.

A white blur moves a few dozen meters away from me. It's waiting on the grass, sniffing around to find food. The creature is a rabbit monster that's around three times larger than the common ones you'd normally see back on Earth. Without any awareness of what's about to happen, it casually glances at us before turning around to leave.

I quickly move, my vision almost turning into a blur as I started chasing after the rabbit. The process didn't last for more than a few seconds though. With my high agility stats, there's no way for the low-leveled creature to outmatch my speed. It now sits on the ground with its body tied up by mana.

One of the bats I've summoned starts flying away with a shriek. Just like I can take control of them, I can also release the bats. After the bat dissapeared from sight, a wormhole appears and a bat appears. Before the red ring can even approach the bat, I already grabbed the little monster and threw it away. The red ring tries to catch up to it but its speed is too slow.

Controlling the mana ropes that's currently binding the rabbit, I threw the bound creature which is still struggling to escape towards the red ring. The red ring expands and traps the rabbit. A health bar suddenly appears next to the rabbit. In a visible rate, it's health starts decreasing. At the same time, a change starts happening to its body.

From snow white fur, it started changing to a mix of black and red fur. Wings similar to what bats have appears on its back. It's current appearance reeks of an evil minion. However, my attention is focused more on its health bar rather than its appearance. It's decreasing fast and not long after, it reaches the critical zone. Finally, the monster dies with a scream.
