Although I call it an idea, I'm not even sure if it would even work. The stalactites lightly shook each time I bump into it but it didn't fall off as expected. Maybe it needs a little more force?

The next try, nothing still happens and dull pain from the continuous was already making my body weary. Maybe instead of a bat, I should've become a hammer instead. If I continue like this, it would take hours to shake this thing off. What should I do?

Wait, don't I still have that Scratch skill according to the status window? I wonder how that works though. Do I simply use my claws to scratch?

It feels a little awkward moving my feet. It's shaped so differently from a human's legs and doesn't function the same. If given enough time, I could probably pull of some stunts with this body but the problem is, it's only been a few minutes since I arrived at this place with his bat body of mine.

Thankfully, it wasn't that hard to do the act. My right leg felt like a selfie stick as I try to raise it further.

"Screech!" That was my mouth releasing a tiny scream. Ugh!

With one move, my claw made a scratching motion. The moment it made contact with the the stalactite, a dull sound travelled through the air and reached my ears. Unfortunately, barely anything happened.

Was my attack too weak?

I made a scratching motion once again. This time, I'm now a little more used to using my feet. Since there was more strength behind it, the speed of my attack faster that I can even hear the whistling sound of the air.

Scratch! I heard a familiar voice inside my head. It was mine back when I was still on my human body.

I can hear a crisp sound of something breaking. It's the stalactite!

At the area where the stalactite and the ceiling was connected, there's already a gap present. There was barely anything that connected the two together. Alright, let's do it once more!

Scratch! That voice resounds through my mind as I used Scratch once more. Following that, the stalactite finally started to separate.

There was a squishing sound and I can't help but halt my movements as a tingling sensation slowly made its way from my back to my head. It was only for a moment though.

My wings resumed their flapping and I was back at attacking the next stalactite. It's smaller than the previous one but this should do.

This time, there was no slowing down as I made another scratching motion. Unexpectedly, something incredible happened.

A small screen appeared. I can feel a strange energy coursing through my small furry body. It was warm and soothing that I almost lost myself on it. Sleepy.

Oh no! Gotta stay focused!

It's quite hard to focus when there's this pleasant feeling on my body but there's no way I can't succumb to it. After all, monsters are waiting below for me. I sent another Scratch attack once more. The stalactite was easily torn apart this time. However, there was no sound of flesh being pierced this time. Did I miss?

I looked down and saw why. The Dungeon Rodents must have been shocked by the sudden death of their companions that they were now separated by a distance of a few meters.

"It's actually a Dungeon Bat?" Raflessia, the rugged man with a sword, exclaimed.

My gaze unconsciously turned towards him. He was now holding into one of his fallen comrades. I should show him a smile to make myself harmless,

"Screech!" I can feel my sharp fangs slightly pierce my lips. Never smile again.

"Weird. There's a pendant on its neck?" The robed lady from before spoke.

Pendant on my neck? Wait, there's actually one! It's even something I know of. Whatever! I'll check it out later.

My wings was still doing its job properly and I controlling it as if I always had wings before. I came face to face with another stalactite right above one of the Dungeon Rodents.

Probably because of their stupidity or of their bad eyesight but they weren't even looking above to see if another one of those pointed things that killed one of their companions would fall towards them too.

This is my chance!

Scratch! Only one attack was needed and the stalactite is now free from its grip on the ceiling . I won't stop with just this so I quickly move to the spot above the next rodent.

Scratch!

I can hear the miserable voices of the two Dungeon Rodents. Are they going to die? I think so. Judging from the severely injured looks, they should probably be dead soon. I stopped looking at the bloody scene below me and flapped my wings forward.

Right behind me where the Dungeon Rodents and the humans were located, I can see a bright light. That must be the tunnel that leads to the outside world.

Somehow, my gut is telling me to move away from that light. No, it's not because I'm a bat. Just a look at my situation shows that lot of strange things is currently happening. Dungeons, monsters, humans wielding strange abilties, and my current self. I'd be a fool if I choose to show myself right now. I need some time to think.

[Level Up! Level 2 to Level 3]

[Level Up! Level 3 to Level 4]

My levels two times higher now. The Dungeon Rodents must've died from their wounds.

The screen emits light that illuminates my eyes as I slowly started to feel more and more relaxed. Such an incredible game-like thing is currently happening and I'm the focus of it. It might sound childish but I've always imagined myself at this situation a lot of times before. Maybe it's the reason why I feel a little less nervous right now.

About those humans though, I wonder how they will fare from now on. They should be fine now that the monsters are gone. From their get up, they should adventurers, albeit weak ones.

Well, it's not like I can insult them. Based on my Status Window, I'm awfully weak. At least, that's my opinion. I don't know about other monsters' stats. Come to think of it, my stats must've changed a lot after three level ups. I should check it out.

Then I it hit me, how do I even open my Status Window again?
