Countless of winding tunnels headed to unknown places and a main tunnel which can lead you to the deepest corner of the dungeon. Small white crystals inlaid on the ground are the only source of light in this place.

As termed by the fairy, the Abyssal Tunnels surely gives rise to a person's fear of the unknown. I don't have that though since I'm used to dark places but I don't know about the other three beside me. These three are my loyal minions namely: Saphyrus, Eliot, and Fortista the Beetle. It doesn't matter even if they are afraid though since they'll jump into the pits of I told them to do so.

"This place is small," A shrill voice leaves Fortista's mouth. Its long horn is scraping against the ceiling of the tunnels while it is trekking the uneven floor of the main tunnel.

It's your fault that your too big, right?

I almost roll my eyes to it. The other two minions are as cold as ever. They probably didn't want to come here. After all, no fairy dared to enter the last floor of the dungeon for the past fifty years. The Abyssal Tunnels which leads to the core of the dungeon is a place infested by a super strong colony of monsters called Fly Ants. Individually, they're weak but since they're almost uncountable, anyone who foolishly travels in to this place will be eaten without even any bones left by the army of ants.

So why are the four of us in here? Of course, it's none other than to level up ourselves. I don't want my minions to get carelessly strong and break out of my control though so it's mostly me who will level up though.

"Kiak!" A strange scream sounds out from one of the tunnels right next to us.

Are the monsters here? I raise my guard up and got between the trio who quickly begin shielding me.

Sure enough, something comes out. Rather, things since there are more than one of them. Ants around a meter in height with transparent wings on their backs appear in groups. At first, it was only a single tunnel but sounds from the other tunnels can now be heard too.

I sneer at these ants and raise my hand. A ball of purple mana forms at my palm and separates into dozens of needles which flies to the ants, hitting their hard shells. Cracking sounds reaches my ears each time a needle hits their bodies.

Hmm... It seems multiple needles are needed to take these guys down. As expected of the monsters of the final dungeon floor. But with this, it'll be more beneficial to me.

I really don't know how it works but according to the royal library, creatures with higher vitality are useful for faster level ups than their  counterparts with the same level. It seems related to the life energy that they have in their bodies. When you kill them, you'll take away some of their energy. However, there's a difference in life energy in every monster. The tougher creatures usually have higher life energy than the frailer ones. The Fly Ants here are around level twenty each and there are tons of them so I can say I'm pretty blessed right now.

Eliot and Saphyrus started their attacks as well while the mana needles are flying. On their hands are the daggers I've crafted. After injecting the daggers with mana, they begin waving the daggers around. The sharpness of the arcs of energies emitted by the daggers are not to be underestimated. Even the hard shells of the Fly Ants are easily penetrated.

While continously firing attacks from to the ants, we continue to trek the main tunnel. I managed to level up once along the way while killing them. Finally, we manage to arrive at an area that is large enough to be called a soccer field. To think they even have this kind of place over here.

Countless glowing mushrooms emitting faint red light can be seen growing all over the place. Some were as tall as a grown man while others are merely as big as a small rock. A few mushrooms have bite marks on their bodies, a sign of something feeding on them.
