Beauty is pain
Causing so many girls and women
To starve themselves to find
Validation in to what society beauty standards say
About them
Not knowing the troll it does to their body
Feeling pretty and looking pretty is more
Important that eating or being healthy
Not knowing that beauty come within
It come from the inside of you
That you're beautiful inside and out
And you don't see it
Not seeing yourself when your truly happy
Not seeing your eyes bright up when
You see your favorite person or tv show
Not hearing yourself laugh when you
Find something funny
Not see yourself accomplishing your goals
Not see how people wishing they were you
And wanted you
Not seeing how many people thought you were beautiful
But didn't say anything
Not seeing yourself put on your favorite dress
And when you see how bright your eyes get when you see something beautiful
Like the sunrise or the sunset
You're beautiful but starving yourself isn't the answer
And being skinny isn't going to make you happy
You may think it will but it won't
Because even skinny people get insecure
Wishing they were
Look yourself in the mirror and say I'm beautiful
Don't try to fit in when your meant to stand out
