She had laid herself bare in front of me
And all I could think about was
Another woman
Everything I did with my girlfriend
I had already experienced this with another woman
My girlfriend talked about our future
And I would go along with it to please my girl
But my mind and heart will always wonder back to her
I knew that my girlfriend wasn't mind to keep
But I couldn't find myself to let her set free either
I held onto her as long as I could
