• 17 • Bully Extraction Pt. 2

"Do you understand? Your daughter 'bullied' and inflicted physical injuries to 4 students in which Mr and Ms Harohiko's son suffered to the most."

This was happening at the principals' office after the incident. You have the right guess of what exactly occurred at lunch break.

"A broken nose, a dark bruise on his cheek and chest, and you almost dislocated his thumb!!!" The father of Richie yelled at the little girl whose shoulders were tensed up as she held her head down in guilt.

Rei was holding both of her shoulders from behind and worried about her daughters' feelings. But she had to be careful, she's pregnant with another boy and the due date is in two months, experiencing stress is never an option.

"S-Surely my daughter wouldn't do anything like this for no reason at all!--"

"Ugh! Do you not discipline your child at all?!" The mother of Richie sassily asked.

"I do!--"

"Just because you're the wife of some big-shot hero doesn't mean you have to spoil them!"

She was wearing expensive clothing, branded bag, diamond and gold jewellery, and her face was caked up with makeup.

Rei takes in a deep breath as she tries to embrace that obviously false assumption, "As the mother of Homusubi, I know who she is and I know she wouldn't hurt anyone--"

The mother cuts her off, "Then why would she--"

"Shut up and let me finish."

She gasps in offense as Rei continued to reason to the principal.

"I am her mother. And I know what she does, I know what eats, I know what she wears, and I know what she feels. Homusubi was trained to protect and not to hurt, that is why I know that she didn't hurt those pitiful students just for nothing."

"Look at my son!" The mother whisper-yelled as she held Richie close to her. He had patches and bandages all over his face and body. It looks more like he got in a car accident.

Richie flinched and acted like he was still hurting painfully, "O-Ow mommy it hurts so much! She's the bully~!"

"It hurts because of her!" She pointed at Homusubi in accusation with a hostile expression.

The little girl gripped her uniform tightly as she feels her heart pounding. She also had a bruise over her feet and knuckles, but only minor ones, as a result of her strong will to keep her word for her father that she'll never use her quirk to attack others.

So instead she used what she had, raw strength, to fight not only for her life but the life of others. Of course, she didn't beat them all by herself, her determination channelled to the other kids, making them fight back too.

But she's the only one who got in trouble as she told the teachers that she's the only one who hurt the students. It was a sacrifice.

No one knows about it but the students, yet only the parents were allowed to debate. Homusubi suffered a disadvantage and they will be less likely able to dodge a suspension or worse case get expelled.

"Are you dumb? Are you blind?" Rei asked, "Look at the charcoal-like hand of your son. It was clear that he had used his quirk and it's against school rules to use it without teachers permission, so he must've attacked Homusubi and she only protected herself!"

"That's an allegation!" The father defended as the boy nervously looked down on both of his hands.

"Saying that Homusubi bullied them is also an allegation!" Rei yelled back. She will do anything to protect her daughter even if it means she has to awaken the sleeping monster inside.
