Nanny's pov.

Do the laundries, check. Clean the place, check. Change the diapers, check. Now... What else.

I looked around their room, filled with animal decorations, adorable baby things and such.

It looked more like a nursery classroom than a bedroom. Sheesh, boss needs to calm down!

Wait a minute... Did I feed them?

"Rice ball!" I called out while I exited the room. Then I rushed down the hallway towards the back yard.

"Rice ball!" I gasped in shock, seeing Homusubi trying to lift the crying newborn off of his baby cart. I watched my steps while going down the short flight of stairs.

Shit! I forgot I left them here to play! Thankfully boss isn't here. If he was, Goodbye world.

"What are you doing?!" I asked, snatching the baby off of her hands before she can hurt the infant accidentally or not.

Honestly, this kid can be weird sometimes.

"A...a..." She spoke as she points up at me.

I raised both of my eyebrows but suddenly felt a stinging mixed with burning pain on my arm, "Ow! ANTS!"

I rushed to their bedroom to set down Touya on a towel while struggling to shush his cries, and removing his clothes at the same time. Homusubi followed right away and got on her tippy toes to look over the table with a worried look.

I saw the fire ants that gathered around a part of food that stuck on Touya's clothes. I heaved a heavy sigh as I removed the garments and applied ointment oil on the bites around his body, "I'm so sorry, rice ball, for misunderstanding you. I didn't-- you could've!--"

I gave up with a sigh, not wanting to finish my sentence since she wouldn't understand either way.

She could've hurt him-- or burned him if she overreacted. Yet she remained calm at that situation by the grace of God.

She made a baby noise as she walked away from the table. I glanced over quickly to see her getting a rattle from a pile of toys while I was changing Touya.

She held it up in the air and shook it, making a rattling noise to distract her baby brother.

It didn't take long for the baby boy's cry to die down as Homusubi got closer to him and reached over to give him the rattle with her little arms. I decided to help her by passing the rattle toy towards Touya.

After letting him grab the rattle toy, he started to shake it and let out baby-ish giggles.

"Aw... You're such a good big sister, rice ball." I cooed while looking over at her with a teasing look.

"S... Sistah...?" She curiously asks with that heart-throbbing innocent eyes.

"Yes. He's as cute as you, right?"

"Mhm!" She nods.

"He has red hair like you too, right?"

"Mhm!"

Is she really the daughter of a man like Enji?-- I'm sorry she's too pure.

"But he's a bit different from you," I responded.

"Huh?" She cocks her head to the side. Confused by what I said.

I giggled. How adorable. "Listen, Homusubi. It's been two months since mama and papa are away and not in the house. But that's becau-uuuuse they're off to find a new baby!" I awkwardly laughed. That was close.

"That's because little Touya is born very weak." I put on a weak and sad expression to show her, "So, your mama and papa needed a new child, your new sibling, maybe a sister or a brother, to protect Touya!"

"B-Buh..." She pouted as she points at herself, "Bih... Sistah..."

"Aw... yes, yes, yes, you're a big sister." I cooed as I squeezed those big cheeks of hers, "But you see Homusubi..." I trailed off as I thought of how I should put this, "Homusubi needs to get STRONG first! Got it?"

"Stooohng?" She asked in a high pitched tone, getting playful.

"Yes!" I nodded vigorously as I lifted Touya from the table, "Strong enough to lift little Touya up!" I let out a laugh as she giggles childishly.

"Yep!... Mu-Subi... Stong!"

"Musubi will get strong! To protect Touya!"

Homusubi was more than happy just thinking about it. She may still be a toddler --turning 2 in a few days-- but she could understand the simple language of human as long as they have an expression with it.

She's already getting stronger at her own pace, but soon she'll be going through training just as Enji has planned for her. Yet that's for the future to unfold. Right now, she'll have to enjoy what it feels like being a big sister, a toddler, and a daughter of a top hero.

Who knows what kind of person will she turn out to be once she grows up? Well, you will know if you add this book to your library to keep updated! Don't forget to press that star (vote) along the way! ;)
