Homusubi slammed her door and locked it. She inhaled deeply and sighed while lying down on the ground with her back leaned against the wall. There were thousands of thoughts that she could've said at that argument, but she couldn't. Deep inside, the little girl still had empathy for her father. But when he said those rude things to her, she couldn't help but feel emotional.

She hugs her knees and nuzzled her face in it while sniffling. In this chilly and dark room, it drowned the flame inside her into nothing but a freezing breeze.

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"H-Homusubi-nee-san...?"

Her ears perked up at the voice of Fuyumi behind her. She wipes her tears away and held her head up, "Yes, Fuyumi...?"

Her little sister behind that door wasn't alone as she exchanged looks with her brother, Touya.

"We just want to know if you're alright..." This time it was her little brother than spoke, "Do you... want to talk?"

"..."

"Nee-san?"

"I'm sorry..." Back to inside the room, Homusubi's eyes widen in realization, staring at the open window where the moon's light entered. Giving her the warmth she lost.

"I... need to go to sleep." She slowly stood up to approach the open window. Hesitant about her next decision as she grabbed onto the frame. Poking her head out to see that she's on the second floor, but there was a tree branch right outside.

Her little siblings sighed and nodded at each other, "Okay. G-Good night... then. We'll be in our shared room."

"Yeah. Why the heck did dad make so many rooms. We have our individual rooms and then a shared one!"

"Shh!"

Their voices started to disappear. And so did Homusubi.

She carefully climbed on the trunk without bringing too much attention. Considering that the room below was her fathers' office. The wind blew underneath her feet when she landed on the ground with a thud. She sprinting away, away from the closed window of her father's room, where she saw for a second that he's on a phone call.

'Tsk. Why do I feel like vomiting when I see him.' She groans in frustration, but the walls surrounded their land weren't far from where she is now. She snatched her jacket that was hanged out to dry and put in on, pulling up the hoodie before climbing on the fence without a sweat.

This sensation of breaking the rules made her feel bad... and good at the same time. Whose fault is it anyway?

Homusubi arrived on time near the gates of the vast park. The land was packed with folks, but they were minding their own business with the small contests and food stalls the park had to offer. She wore a smile before meeting Rumi who was lightly swaying her legs while sitting on a bench.

"Yo!"

The bunny looks up and grinned. She hops off of her bench and head locked the riceball, "I was getting worried why you two are late!"

"Hahahaha! Sorry about that. Wait, Tsuki is late too?"

Rumi sighs and flopped back down on the bench, followed by Homusubi, "Yep, can't help but wait for that guy! Anyway... I got a question for you."

"Oh, sure."

"Do... Do you like him?"

"Him?"

"Tsuki! Do you like Tsuki?"

"H-Huh? I mean... Yes, I do?" She cocked her head, "Despite him being a little rude sometimes it doesn't change the fact we're friends. Why? What's up?"
