Y/n's POV

I was walking behind Kaijin and his brothers to the place that they wanted to celebrate at. We entered the shop, greeted by a bunch of elvish women. "Welcome to Butterflies of the Night!" They said. I was a little scared of them and closely followed behind Kaijin. "There's no need to be scared, little lady. Everyone here is super nice." Kaijin said. I nodded and came out from behind him. As soon as I stepped out everyone was coming over to me, patting me on the head, scratching behind my ears and just saying how cute I looked. "I'm not cute." I whispered.

"Of course you are, you're my daughter and what I say goes okay?" Daddy said. I nodded slowly, gaining a smile. "Your father's right, you are just the cutest thing I've ever seen." One lady said. I felt my cheeks warm up from her comment. "Aww~," Everyone cooed. I hid my face behind daddy, but he jumped out of my arms and into one woman's arms before I found myself in a hug. I looked up to see a woman with white hair hugging me from behind. "Do you mind if I hug you?" She asked. I shook my head. She lead me over to a couch, setting me in her lap, but kept me in her hug. "Why do you think you're not cute?" She asked me, ignoring everyone else. I pointed to my ears and tail, showing her what people said was weird. "Oh, I see, I can understand why people would hate your perfect ears," She said. "However, I want you to know something."

I looked at her and expected something bad. "I want you to know that no matter what other people say, you're the cutest little girl I've ever seen." She said.

"Really?" I asked. She nodded and patted me on the head. She started scratching behind my ears, earning a quiet purr from me. I let out a yawn and leaned my head against her chest.

Rimuru's POV

"Your daughter is cute. Where did you find her?" The white-haired elf asked.

"I found her in a cave all by herself, her family had abandoned her, then I found her and took her in." I said thinking back to finding her.

"What kind of person would abandon their own daughter?" The small blonde hair elf asked.

"The worst kind." The white-haired elf said letting Y/n sleep against her.

"I think those parents made the right decision." Someone said.

"What?" I asked getting angry. I looked up to see a guy dressed in mostly white with gold trims. "You heard me, look at her she probably didn't even have a family to begin with." The person said coming over to us.

"Minister Vesta, how could you say such things?" Kaijin asked. I looked over at Y/n and saw that the white-haired elf was covering her ears. "And what's a monster doing inside you establishment?" Vesta asked the elf behind the bar. The bar owner handed him a drink for free which he poured onto me. "I can't do anything about this, the guy is a minister if I hurt him our village is doomed." I thought. I heard something grunt and something fall down, I looked up to see Kaijin standing up with his arm outstretched. "You brute." Vesta said. Kaijin punched him again forcing Vesta out of the bar. "Rimuru you said you were looking to hire some artisans, how would you like it if I came with you to your village?" Kaijin asked.

"Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded and sat back down on the couch. "Well, we still have a few minutes until the guards will show up let's relax while we can." Kaijin said. I nodded and took another sip from my tankard. "Mister Slime before you go would you like to see a trick?" The black-haired elf asked. I nodded, she pulled out a crystal ball and waved her hands around it. "How about we see if you have a soulmate?" She asked. I nodded and watched the ball intently, a picture came into view showing a woman with three marks under her left eye. "Kaijin! And anyone with his party please exit the bar!" A guard yelled. Kaijin and the three brothers stood up, I followed behind them with the white-haired elf waking Y/n so she could come with us.
