Chapter 55

Y/n's POV

After purifing the lake we headed back to the castle in Raja and the queen gathered the citizens there and announced that the lake had been purified. Once everyone heard the announcement they started gathering some supplies for a party to celebrate the purification of the lake. Once the sun had set the celebration kicked off and everyone was drinking and having food in the kingdom's center. Papa, Benimaru, Shion, mama, Kumara and I were watching from one of the balcony's on the castle. "Everyone's so happy." Benimaru said.

"True that, I'm glad." Papa said.

"It's nice seeing another kingdom celebrating the purification of the lake." I said. 

"Duh of course they are, we got permission to cultivate the Great Forest of Jura, plus queen Towa's recovering and the lake was purified along with the thing poisoning it. And it's all thanks to lord Rimuru and lady Y/n." Shion said.

"So why are you the one bragging?" Benimaru asked.

"Hey  now, don't you dare take that tone with me Benimaru. I'll have you know that as lord Rimuru's personal secretary, the two of us are of one body and mind." Shion said, before laughing. I giggled as Benimaru mentioned that what she said didn't make any sense. As I wa looking out of the celebrating citizens someone came up from behind me and hugged me. "I'm very proud of you." Mama said. 

"Thanks, I didn't do much though." I said.Mama turned me around and kissed my forehead before shaking her head. "You did so much to help these people. I'm sure they're grateful to both you and Lord Rimuru." Mama said. I smiled and nodded before Kumara hugged me and looked up at me. "Big sis you did a great job." Kumara said. I smiled and thanked her before letting out a yawn. "Seems like bed time has come, shall the three of us head back home?" Mama asked, looking at me and Kumara. I nodded before hearing Hiro thanking papa and promising that he'd repay him. "It was nice meeting you Hiro." I said.

"You as well lady Y/n, I hope we get to talk some more at a later day." Hiro said. 

"I'm sure you will since I wanna continue this relationship with Raja." Papa said. HIro was shocked by this before I let out another yawn. "Lord Rimuru before you go and check on queen Towa, would you mind sending Kumara, Y/n and I back to Tempest?" Mama asked. 

"Sure. Let me know when you're ready." Papa said. Mama nodded before looking at me. "Do you mind if I say goodbye to Hiro before we leave?" Mama asked.

"You don't have to ask, go right ahead mama." I said. She nodded before looking at Hiro who was smiling. Kumara and I continued enjoying the night sky for a few minutes before mama came over and asked if we were ready. We nodded and papa warped us home with mama since she wanted to make sure that we went to bed. Mama kissed both our forehead before Kumara and I went to bed. The next day I wanted to go check on the citizens of Raja and see if they needed any help farming in the Great Forest of Jura. When I got to the area where they kingdom of Raja would be farming they were already hard at work clearing the fields and getting tree trunks out of the ground. "Woah, this place was cleared fast." I said, looking around the open field. 

"Yes, the citizens of Raja have put in a lot of effort into the cultivation of the Great Forest." Treyni said, appearing next to me. I smiled and looked at her. "It's honestly impressive that they've gotten this far so soon." I said.

"Well the effort you put in you'll get out." Treyni said. I nodded in agreement before I heard someone walking up behind me. I turned and saw Hiro and Towa walking up to me. "Hello, Queen Towa, Hiro." I said, bowing to them slightly. 

"Hello lady Y/n, Lady Teryni. I hope you're having a wonderful day so far." Queen Towa said. 

"Thank you, I just came by to see how the cultivation was going." I said. 

"I understand, as you can see the first stages are going well. I should also thank you and lord Rimuru for allowing us to do this." Queen Towa said. I giggled and smiled looking at queen Towa. "It was nothing besides while the Great Forest of Jura falls under the Jura Tempest Federation, it's technically uncle Vel's domain plus we even got permission from Treyni." I said. As we were talking I felt the dark presence of a demon. I looked around looking for the demon, but couldn't easily spot someone that was exactly demon looking. "Well if you'll excuse me, I need to go talk with some of the citizens." Queen Towa said. 

"Of course, go right ahead. I'll just keep looking around and checking on the progress." I said. Once queen Towa walked away I went looking for the source of the demonic power trying to figure out what was going on. II eventually spotted a guy creeping around muttering to himself about something. He looked up and looked at Queen Towa shocked about soemthing with her. Mobuji walked up and greeted the man that was creeping around before. They started talking about stuff dealing with supplies and trade items. I ended up finding out that the guy had been gone for ten days. "Ten days? He seems like a merchant, but merchants only come as long as they have products to sell. Unless he's selling them supplies for the food shortage here." I thought. Something about that man wasn't settling well with me before they went their seperate ways. I followed the guy that was creeping around before keeping an eye on him since that demonic power was coming off of him. He climbed into the carriage that he walked to and started talking to himself inside about plans or something going wrong because of a kijin survivor, a slime and a beastman.
