Chapter 16

Y/n's POV

"Alright when we get to the battle I want us to fly up in the air so we can find the orc lord okay?" Papa said. I nodded as we continued riding for a while until we arrived at the marshlands. "Alright everyone, let's dismount here for now." Papa said. Everyone hopped off the dire wolves and bowed in front of us. "What are your orders, lord Rimuru?" Benimaru asked. He looked at everyone before nodding. "Benimaru, Shion, Hakurou. I want you three to start on the outskirts of the. Goblin riders, I want you to save the lizardmen and goblins that are in the center of the marshlands. And we'll do like we planned." Papa explained. I nodded and use mimicry and grew some bat-like wings. "Ready to go." I said. Everyone took their places and headed out. Me and papa flew up into the air to get a better view of the battle. I looked around before spotting Gabiru and all his forces. "Papa, there." I said, pointing and tugging on his sleeve. He looked to see what I was pointing to. "Yup, that looks like Gabiru, but remember we're here for the Orc Lord." Papa said.

I nodded and started looking for a super big orc. After a few minutes of looking, I saw giant balls of black flames appear everywhere. "Looks like Benimaru has started his attack." Papa said. I nodded and looked down to see Shion killing a bunch of orcs. She waved at us, so I waved back with a smile. She continued to fight the orcs with Hakurou, not far ahead of her. "Seeing anything Y/n?" Papa asked. I shook my head and kept looking. The wind blew super fast and tornados started appearing. "What's that?" I asked great sage. 

"That is the individual Ranga's Death Storm." Great sage said. I nodded and kept looking. The noises from the battle were super loud for me, but I could use great sage to block out some of it. I looked towards the back of the army and saw a super big orc with two other orcs standing near him. "There papa." I said, pointing the orc out. 

"Great job sweetie." He said, patting me on the head. He put on his mask, so I followed him and did the same. "Alright, here we go." Papa said. I nodded and followed him as he started flying towards the orc. As we flew towards him, I noticed Ranga had killed the orcs that were around him. "Papa, can I have a dire wolf?" I asked. Papa didn't answer and looked behind us. I saw a red light coming towards us. Papa pushed me out of the way and let the thing fly past us. "Are you okay sweetie?" Papa asked flying over to me. I nodded. He patted me on the head again before looking at what happened. The person who was the red light was talking about his plan before using magic to summon some red ball. "Y/n, save them." Papa said. I nodded and flew in as fast as I could. "Predator!" I shouted as the red ball that split into smaller balls came flying towards us. I consumed all of the magic before closing my hand. "What?" The person asked. I smiled and tilted my head to the side. "Hello. I'm Y/n Tempest." I said. I turned to look at Gabiru and his friends. "Here you go." I said handing him some potions that papa gave me. Gabiru took them and looked at them for a second. "They're potions." I said. He nodded and used them on his friends. Papa landed next to me. "Goob job sweetie." Papa said. I looked at him waiting for him to pat my head. He noticed me looking at him before looking at me confused. "What?" Papa asked. I raised his hand and put it on my head. "Oh, sorry." Papa said. I smiled as he started scratching my head. "Who... Who are you?" The guy in the mask asked. Papa used his sticky steal thread to bind the guy in the mask. 

 Papa walked over to the guy in the mask before punching him in the stomach. "Don't you know who I am?" Gelmud asked. Papa just looked at him before punching him in the face. "You'll pay for that." Gelmud said. Gelmud was knocked back a little managing to stay on his feet, but he was having a hard time breathing. "You sound like a big shot, but from what I can see you're weak." Papa said. Gelmud tried to get papa to team up with him, but papa ended up punching him back again. "Damn you! I'll make you regret this!" Gelmud screamed. I walked over to Shion and Benimaru. "Is he throwing a fit?" I asked. I heard sighs come from both of them before they nodded. Papa kept talking to him and walking towards him. "Help me Geld." Gelmud begged. I saw the orc lord start moving towards us as the ground shook from his steps. After that Geld cut off Gelmud's head before eating the rest of him. Once Geld ate Gelmud he evolved into the orc disaster. "I am the great orc disaster!" Geld yelled. 

"Shion!" Benimaru said. Shion charged forward trying to atttack him, but he blocked her attacks. Hakurou joined her and managed to cut off his head, but Geld ended up just putting it back on. Souei, Benimaru, and Ranga all attack, but Geld got up from the ground with no injuries. The orc standing next to Geld offered his body up to Geld. Geld accepted and ate him on the spot before healing all of his injuries from everyone's attacks. Geld used 'Death March Dance' and aimed at everyone, papa ended up eating all of the magic proteccting us. "I could've done that." I complained. I heard a giggled behind me before a hand was laid on my head. "We know you could, but your father decided to do it himself." Shion said. 

"Y/n, let's use Great Sage and let her take down the orc disaster." Papa said through thought communication. I stepped up next to him and was ready to fight. He looked at me and nodded before we switched over to autopilot for the fight. We easily dodged Geld's attack and managed to cut off his arm and leave a cut on his chest. Geld used ' Death March Dance' again, but we consumed it easily with predator. Geld managed to grab both of us, so Great Sage used Flare Circle to attack. "Y/n, use predator on him." Papa said. We deactivated Great Sage and looked at him. Papa melted and crawled all over Geld, I started eating his hand forcing him to let go of me before. We continued eating him until eventually papa covered him from head to toe. Once that happened I stopped eating him and stepped back to let papa finish. I wpied my mouth was still a little hungry. "Shion do you have anything to eat?" I asked. She smiled and handed me a little cloth that was wrapped around something. I opened it to see some food that someone made. "Shuna gave me this just before we left." She said. I smiled and quickly ate the food she had made. The sun started to rise after a few minutes and papa had pretty much consumed Geld. There was a giant puddle of slime where Geld and papa were, a few bubbles came up from the bottom of the slime before papa appeared in the air. Everyone cheered for papa as he turned to look at us. After that he changed into his slime form and bounced over to me. I held out my arms and let him land in them. "May we have a moment in private?" Benimaru asked. We both nodded and headed to a hill over looking the marshlands. "Well, the orc lord is dead. As promised you guys are free. Thank you again for your help." Papa said.

"My lord, please allow us to continue serving you." Benimaru said. Papa looked up at me before I nodded. "Are you sure?" Papa asked. All of them agreed with Benimaru. Shion came over and hugged both of us.
