Chapter 39

Y/n's POV

When I woke up the next day, I stayed in my pajamas before heading out towards the capital building. Raphael let me know about king Gazel being there and someone else who she didn't know, but they were using a homunculus. "So they're not human?" I asked.

"The homunculus was based on a human, but the race of the person using it is unknown." Raphael said. I nodded and continued walking towards the building. I saw some knights entering the hotel along with Fuze before mama walked out. She turned and saw me before walking up to me. "Good morning sweetie, did you sleep good?" Mama asked. 

"Yeah, but why is Fuze, king Gazel and that other new person are here?" I asked. 

"We're having a meeting about how to deal with the aftermath of Falmuth's attack and everything that came from that." Mama explained.

"I guess I should be there." I said.

"If you want to come you can, but lord Rimuru and I thought it might be best if you have some time to relax." Mama explained.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Of course. I want you to still be a kid, at least a little." Mama answered. 

"I'm going to go make myself some breakfast then." I said.

"That's good. Now, if you want something to do, you can come to the meeting." Mama explained. I nodded and headed back home. I started making F/b (favorite breakfast) before eating and making some extra for T/w/n. After they ate, we headed outside and played around a little while before I decided to head to the meeting that papa was holding. As I walked to the capital building some of the adults from last night were finally waking up after sleeping most of the morning. When I got to the capital building no one was in any of the meeting rooms, so I decided to head out to the back since papa had a small pavilion made for nice days. 

Everyone was out there talking except papa, Gazel and the new person that Raphael told me about. "Hi sweetie, I see you decided to come and join us." Mama said. I nodded and sat down in an extra chair that was out. I looked over to see Veldora reading some manga. "Where's papa?" I asked.

"Lord Rimuru, king Gazel, and the representative Erald Grimwald from the Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion are having a private meeting to discuss what's going on with lord Veldora." Mama explained. I nodded before I looked over the the capital building seeing papa and the others walking out. "Hey sweetie, I'm glad you're up." Papa said.

"Thanks." I said.

"Lady Y/n, it's good to see you again." King Gazel said. 

"It's good to see you too." I said, smiling at him.

"I'm not exactly sure if this is okay to mention, but I'm glad your evolution to demon lord successful." King Gazel said.

"Thanks, but I have one question. Do I seem different?" I asked.

"Not at all." King Gazel answered. I smiled and nodded. After we finished talking a guy that I didn't know walked up to me. "It's an honor to meet the daughter of Rimuru Tempest. My name is Erald Grimwald. I'm here as a representative of the Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion." He said. I stood up and bowed to him. "Hello, I'm Y/n Tempest. I'm a new demon lord along with my papa Rimuru, and my uncle is Veldora." I said, standing up.

"Wait, I thought the storm dragon didn't have any sort of children or relatives." Earld said.

"I'm not sure about that, but before papa found us in the cave I was raised a little by Veldora." I explained.

"I see, how intriguing." Earld said. He sat down next to Eren and her friends before papa went over everything again. Before covering something about one of mama's students Hinata. Fuze was shocked that papa fought her and managed to get away from her. Papa talked for a moment about the strength that she had. Fuze told us the info that he had gathered was different than what papa had said about her. "From what I'm hearing she was told false information to her to to act against papa and our city." I said.

"You're right, but only a few people knew about us being in Ingrassia." Papa said. I nodded and thought about the one person we told when we arrived. Everyone backed up the information that Fuze gave us before talking about how Hinata should be stopping the summoning ritual that kingdoms were still using to summon children here. Fuze, Gazel and Erald mentioned that the ritual for summoning people was a forbidden practice. "So no one would say that they're doing the ritual?" Papa asked.

"That's correct." Erald said. I nodded in agreement with Erald. "It's not shocking that people keep it a secret." I said. Everyone agreed with me about that before moved on to the next topic of dealing with Hinata. Diablo and Shion were almost competeing about who would take on Hinata. Papa stopped them from fighting before looking at uncle Veldora who had stepped up to say he'd fight. I heard a weird buzzing noise before Raphael let me know that someone was flying in. I got up and looked up to see something glowing and flying towards us. The glowing ball hit the glass that was on the roof of the pavilion. "Who is that?" Papa asked.

"I think it's Ramiris." I said. I hop up to the roof and grabbed Ramiris before hopping down. "Yeah, Ramiris is here." I said. I set Ramiris in papa's hands as she rubbed her nose because she hit the glass.

"What are you doing here, Ramiris?" Papa asked.

"I heard everything! Tempest, your country is doomed to fall!" Ramiris shouted.

"What!" Papa, Shion and uncle Veldora shouted. I had to cover my ears from their screams. After they finished shouting about what was going on with Ramiris before she could fully explained everything. After a few seconds Diablo offered to get rid of Ramiris calling her a pest.
