Chapter 5 The Adventurers

Rimuru's POV

After a few weeks of being back in the village, Y/n was finally coming out of her little shell the goblins and the three dwarf brothers were treating her like she was any normal kid. "Ready to see my new move?" I asked Y/n and Ranga.

"Yes, master!" Ranga cheered as Y/n just nodded.

"Transform!" I shouted, jumping in the air a bit. I transformed into a 'Tempest Star Wolf' I looked at the boulder in the river using it as my target. "Black lightning!" I yelled, shooting a bolt of black lightning at the boulder. As the lightning hit it, the boulder blew up as a wave of water hit the riverbank. "Wow, daddy that was cool." Y/n said clapping. I changed back, landing in her arms as we looked at what I did. "Black lightning... That's amazing master!" Ranga said.

"Yeah, but it's a little dangerous. I must be careful about when and where I use it." I said. Y/n climbed onto Ranga as he got ready to run back to the village. When we got there we stood on a hilltop looking down at the village. "Are you feeling better by yourself around here?" I asked Y/n.

"Yes, but I still wish I could hide my ears and tail." Y/n said. Ranga kneeled down, allowing Y/n to get off him. We stayed near the edge of the hill while Ranga laid in the shade under a tree close by. We enjoyed the view for a bit before Y/n sat down, I hopped out of her arms landing next to her. "You seem a little down, what's going on, sweetie?" I asked.

"I was thinking about having a mom. The only family I had was Veldora and now you, but I don't have a mom." Y/n said.

"Well, while we were in that bar in Dwargo one elf did something like telling my fortune, I saw a woman there and maybe she'd be willing to be your mom." I said. Y/n got super excited about having a mom that she cheered. "Calm down sweetie, I don't even know her name or anything about her." I said. She calmed down but was still excited about having a mom, I jumped back into her arms before heading over to Ranga. "Ready to go, Ranga?" I asked. He quickly got up, driving under Y/n and lifting her up onto his back. Y/n giggled at it before she started petting him. We headed back into town stopping to see how each of the drawf brothers were doing. Kaijin was forging something when we stopped by. "Strike the iron while it's hot!" Kaijin joked. I laughed at his joke before looking over at where the dwarf brothers were, Garm was showing how to tan leather to make it durable while explaining what it did to the leather.

Dord was putting fine detailing on a piece of jewlery, while Myrd was showing some goblins how to make a house. Once we finished looking in on the dwarf brothers we saw Gobta showing some of the other goblins how to summon their tempest wolf partner. "You know I didn't realize how determined he was. I think he's pretty cool now." I said. After I said that I watched as Gobta was telling them it had to almost sound like you needed to poop . "Nevermind I think he could still use a bit of work on how he goes about doing something." I said. I looked up to see Y/n nod in agreement. "Master Rimuru!" Rigurd called running over to us.

"What's up Rigurd?" I asked.

"The security team called in to report something weird." Rigurd said.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Apparently there are some humans in the forest." Rigurd said.

"Humans?" I asked sort of excited to meet more humans.

Rigurd told us the location the humans were found letting us head off to find them. When we found them, they were being chased by some giant ants. One of them that had a mask turn back and faced the ants killing them. The person stabbed one in the head finishing it off, before one of the ants popped back up to kill them. "Black Lightning." Y/n said. A lightning bolt struck the ant killing it. "Was that magic?" A guy asked.

"It looked a lot like 'Black Lightning' but who used it?" Another guy asked. Y/n walked out as the dust started to settle, a mask landed on me as we walked forward. "Hello hopefully my daughters magic didn't hurt any of you." I said hopping out of Y/n's arms.

"No I think we're good." A girl said.

"And I believe this is yours." I said handing the girl that had the mask on her mask back.

"Thank you." She said putting the mask back on.

"You all seem tired, how about you come to our village to relax for a bit." I offered. They all agreed and followed us as we lead them to the village. "Before we part ways My name is Rimuru and this is my daughter Y/n." I said introducing us. We showed them to a tent we had set up before me and Y/n left to go find Rigur and Rigurd. "Ok, I've got a little bit of business to take care of with the dwarf brothers, Y/n why don't you go with Rigur and Rigurd and see how our guests are doing." I suggested. She nodded, I left with Ranga heading off to meet up with the brothers.

Y/n's POV

"Lady Y/n shall we head over to see our guests?" Rigurd asked.

"Rigurd, just call me Y/n please." I said.

"I cannot, you and master Rimuru need to be held in high regard considering that you signle handedly save our village and then name us." Rigurd said. I sighed before walking with them to the tent we gave the adventurers. "Oh and while you were talking with your father they asked for food so I gave them some." Rigurd said. I nodded before hearing yells coming from the tent. "I guess I shouldn't have given them food, they seem to be fighting over it." Rigurd said.

"No I think you did good doing that." I said. "Plus it's good to help people."

"Then I shall devote my life to helping people." Rigurd said. I smiled at him and nodded. "After you lady Y/n." Rigur said holding open the cover we had set up. I walked in and saw three of the adventurers turn to face me while still chewing their food. I suddenly felt like something was wrong. "Allow me to introduce one of the leaders of our village lady Y/n Tempest." Rigurd said.
