Y/n's POV

A month passed and Kumara continued to challenge me in the afternoons after training more. Each time we sparred I easily won each match, but she was improving each time and learning how I attacked, so I had to change my attacks. Luckily I was out with papa talking with Gobkyu, so I wasn't super worried about Kumara coming around since she normally avoided the stuff that papa and I have to take care of with running Tempest. Gobkyu and the rest of the people who jumped in to help him build the colosseum. "If we keep this pace, there's a good chance we'll finish it before the festival." Gobkyu said.

"Yeah, that would be perfect." Papa said.

"Leave the rest to us." Gobkyu said, heading towards the colosseum. Papa laughed as he looked at the progress they were making. After a minute of standing there, we headed into the basement where the labyrinth was as Gobkyu was calling it quits for the workday. "I'll see everyone bright and early tomorrow." Gobkyu said.

"Cool, see you later than." Sophia said, heading towards the labyrinth door. She tapped it before she and the other beastmen were transported inside. Papa and I followed behind them, entering the little town that Ramiris had taken in with her unique skill. "Man, I got to hand it to you, Ramiris. Your skill, Small World, really is something else. Your ability allows you to pick up a huge area and transport it into a labyrinth. Not only that, but the refugee housing fits perfectly inside and everybody's just thrilled about it. Plus, it never rains down here and the temperatures are comfortable." Papa said.

"That's cause I'm awesome. And I can add as many more levels as you want to." Ramiris cheered.

"You only need an hour to make a floor, right?" I asked.

"Uh-huh!" Ramiris answered. Papa turned and started thinking about something. "In that case, let's go for 100 of those bad boys." Papa said. Ramiris and I looked at papa confused about why he wanted so many floors for the labyrinth. "Wait... what? Do you really need that many?" Ramiris asked.

"If we're doing this, we might as well go all out, right? I want to rig all kinds of gimmicks and have all kinds of powerful monsters on the deeper levels." Papa said.

"Oh. But how are you going to get the monsters to fill the labyrinth? Are you going out to catch them or something?" Ramiris asked. Papa leaned over and started whispering to Ramiris about his plans, which I couldn't really understand, but I heard uncle Veldora being mentioned. By the time we left the labyrinth, it was night already and outside was an upset Kumara. "Big sis, you promised that we'd be able to have training matches everyday." Kumara complained. She puffed out her cheek as she stared me down while papa snuck off to go talk with Kurobe. "I said we could try, but you know how it gets when I'm helping papa run the country." I explained. Kumara didn't want to hear that and turned, walking away from me. I followed her home. Once we got there Kumara sat at the dinner table turned away from me while I sat across from her. "Alright, tomorrow morning I'll have a sparring match with you. If papa doesn't need me, then we can also do a few more to make up for today, is that okay?" I asked. Kumara looked at me before smiling and nodding. "I can't believe I just gave into her like that." I thought to myself. The rest of the night Kumara made sure I didn't leave the house since I did that when papa needed some help run Tempest. The next morning Kumara woke me up early and dragged me out to the practice field where we started having sparring matches one after the other just so she was happy. I ended up losing track of time and we spent the entire day sparring. The next day papa came over to my home to wake me up. "Y/n, it's time to get up." Papa said. I opened my eyes, seeing papa sitting next to my bed. "What's going on?" I asked. I sat up, rubbing my eyes, trying to get myself awake. "We're having a meeting in the Capitol building soon. Shuna made me promise yesterday that I'd have you there since you trained all day yesterday. Kumara can even come if she'd like to." Papa explained. I nodded before getting up while papa stepped out of the room. I leaned over waking up Kumara and explaining that I had to go to the meeting with papa.
