Y/n's POV

I quickly finished my book before heading up to the front with papa so he could call roll and tell the students who we were. "Kenya Misaki? Ryota Sekiguchi? Gale Gibson? Alice Rondo? Chloe Aubert?" Papa asked. All the kids ignored papa while he called out their names. "When I call your name, can you please say here?" Papa asked. Everyone was still ignoring him. Papa closed the folder he was holding. "I'd say I have a decent grasp of the situation. How about I call in a friend of mine?" Papa asked. Papa's shadow grew in size before Ranga jumped out of it and behind the kids at the back of the room. Ranga was using his intimidate skill as the kids started shaking. "Kenya Misaki? Ryota Sekiguchi? Gale Gibson? Alice Rondo? Cloe Aubert?" Papa called as he read off their names again. Everyone answered with a here, while most of them seemed worried about Ranga. "Good job everyone." Papa said, smiling at them.

"Hey! Calling in that monster dog of yours to threaten us is a dirty trick." Kenya said.

"My name is Ranga." Ranga said, licking Kenya. Kenya was covered in slobber from Ranga's hello lick. "See, you're already great friends. My name is Rimuru, and this is my daughter Y/n." Papa said, introducing us. I bowed as I looked at them. "Woah, she's a real life neko?" Alice asked. I smiled at them while papa tried to calm them down. "Calm down, you guys. As of today, I'm going to be your new teacher. Y/n is just going to be in class with you, but she's more of my assistant rather than a student. Also, fair warning, I'm not as patient as Shizu." Papa explained. The kids just stared at him, shocked by what he was saying. "Oh my, you're all so quiet." Papa said. Ranga growled again before the kids answered with a 'yes, sir' while I just watched. Papa looked at them before looking off to the side, thinking about something, but he eventually clapped his hands to make sure he had everyone's attention. "Alright, how about a pop quiz for everyone?" Papa asked.

"No, I don't want to take a test." Alice said. Everyone else joined in on agreeing with her by either saying something or making an action. "I said it was a pop quiz, but it's more like a game for you." Papa explained.

"Everyone knows that we're going to die, so why do we need to study?" Kenya asked.

"Kenya's right, it's just a huge waste of our time." Gale said.

"The other teachers let us do whatever we want." Ryota said.

"I just want to read my books in peace." Chloe said.

"You're the worst! bossy jerk-face!" Alice yelled. Papa just nodded. "Everyone has a fair point, but like papa said this is a game." I said.

"Fine what kind of game is it?" Kenya asked.

"It's designed so you can get your frustrations out." Papa said. The kids looked at him confused. "Come on, we're heading outside to the field." Papa said. All the of the kids got up and followed us as we walked outside. Ranga was at his full size while standing behind papa while I got a table out along with an hour-glass timer. "We're going to have one-on-one mock battles." Papa explained.

"You each have a chance with ten minutes to take papa out, you can do anything to win the battle so long as you win it'll count. If you take papa out you're the winner. The only thing you have to do is beat him." I explained.

"Is that really all?" Kenya asked.

"Yup." Papa answered.

"Ten minutes? Isn't that a little long?" Gale asked.

"No it's perfect." I answered.

"Ha! As long as you don't use that drooling machine, we won't need the whole time." Alice said. I looked at them, but Chloe seemed the most upset about this game. "You're right, he'd be overkill. Ranga stay out of these." Papa said. Ranga bowed his head a little, agreeing not to fight. "This'll be so easy." Kenya said.
