Chap. 2 Facing the Dire Wolves

Y/n's POV

Me and daddy were standing in front of the village looking out over a field where dire wolves were coming together. "If any get past me it's up to you to beat them Y/n." Daddy said. I nodded and used my sticky thread skill to put up more protection for the village. The dire wolves came running at us, getting cut up by daddy's steel thread skill. "Leave now and I will spare you!" Daddy yelled. The biggest wolf came running at daddy, but got stuck in his sticky thread skill. "I gave you a chance to leave, now you must join us or die." Daddy said. I turned away, knowing what he might do to the wolf. "Water blade." Daddy said after a second I heard a thud on the ground. I turned to see that the wolf's head was on the ground in front of daddy, he used predator to consume most of the wolf, leaving enough for me to eat and gain its skills. "Now I offer you the chance to run and never return." Daddy said turning into the wolf. He roared, trying to get the other wolves to run away.

The wolves walked closer to us, but something was different about how they walked I got up and made my way over to daddy. "Daddy, stop, I think they're giving up." I said. He stopped roaring and let the wolves come up to him and laid on their stomach. "I guess I did win, well I'm getting tired should we turn in for the night?" Daddy said. I let out a yawn and nodded, the goblins cheered that the fight was over, daddy turned back into his slime form and jumped into my arms. "Let's get you to bed Veldora wouldn't be too happy with me if he saw me keep you up this late." Daddy said. The Dire wolves followed us into the village and waited outside our little hut that the goblins let us use to sleep in. "Alright sweetie get some sleep we need to do figure some things out tomorrow." Daddy said brushing some hair out of my face.

Next Morning

I felt something wet touching my face waking me up, I opened my eyes to see one of the wolves licking my face. "Lady Y/n, master was fallen asleep after naming us." Someone said. I sat up and rubbed my eyes looking at the wolf. "Who are you and how do you know my dad?" I asked.

"I am Ranga the Tempest wolf. Master Rimuru gave me that name, once he named me he fell asleep to recharge his magicules." Ranga said. I looked at him before reaching out to touch his face. "You're a big puppy." I said petting behind his ears. He set his head down on my lap letting me continue to pet him, after petting him for a while the village elder came into the hut. "Excuse me lady Y/n, but I wanted to let you know your father has fallen asleep and we don't know when he'll wake up." The elder said. I nodded, getting up from the bed that they had made for me. As I got up the clothes I was started to rip, I felt my face heat up as I tried to hold my clothes together. "Lady Y/n, I'll cover you." Ranga said, jumping in front of me.

"I'll go get a few of the goblinas to come and help mend your clothing." The elder said rushing out of the hut. I waited in the hut doing my best to holding the clothes together, after a few minutes a few of the female goblins came in. "Hello lady Y/n, I'm Gobte." Gobte said introducing herself. I nodded and looked at the other female goblins. "Oh this is Haruna, Vols, Susha and Lile." Gobte said introducing the rest of the female goblins. Ranga got up and left without looking back at me. "If you need anything lady Y/n let me know over thought communication." Ranga said in my head.

"Let's get these old clothes off of you and get some new ones." Haruna said standing me up. She helped me out of my old clothes and into something the looked similar to hers. "Well they aren't much but it's better then what you were wearing." Susha said. I looked over the clothes and nodded, they all smiled and walked me out of the hut. I walked around the village learning the names of everyone in town. After that I went back to my hut and sat around thinking about what to do. As I sat in my hut thinking I started to feel sleepy, Ranga laid next to me and kept me warm. "Lady Y/n, you should sleep there's nothing wrong with that." Ranga said. I nodded and curled up close to him quickly falling asleep.

Timeskip about two days nothing important happens really.

"I'm back!" Daddy said as he woke up. I looked at him, Gobte got up and walked over to daddy. "It seems like you're feeling better master Rimuru." Gobte said. Daddy looked at her before turning to me. "I'll go get elder Rigurd." Gobte said leaving our hut.

"Who was that Y/n?" Daddy asked bouncing over to me.

"That was Gobte, you named her and all the other goblins and Ranga the Dire wolf before you fell asleep three days ago." I said picking him up. He nodded and looked down at my clothes. "Y/n did something happen to your clothes?" Daddy asked.

"Just after you fell asleep I grew a little and my clothes started to rip." I said.

"Your new clothes a just a little uh revealing." Daddy said. When I heard that I paniced and pulled what little material I could to cover myself. "Daddy don't look at me." I said grabbing the blanket the goblins had given me and covering myself.

"I'm sorry Y/n, I didn't mean to embarrass you." Daddy said. I nodded and let the blanket drop to the floor. "I-it's okay, I just didn't think you would say anything." I said. Daddy jumped into my arms again before Elder Rigurd came in. "Ah master Rimuru you're awake that good to see." Rigurd said coming into the hut.

"Who the heck are you?" Daddy asked yelling.

"That's elder Rigurd daddy, since you fell asleep everyone has grown. Well almost everyone, I'm still the same size." I said.

"Yes, we have risen in rank and became hobgoblins and the females became goblinas." Rigurd said.

"Well then I think it's time we take the next step for our little village." Daddy said. I nodded and walked outside with Rigurd, we found a stump to sit on so we could talk with all the villagers. "Everyone please be quiet the master wishes to speak with all of us." Rigurd said getting everyone to quiet down. "Alright now that everyone's quieted down I want to talk about three rules that this village will follow to the best of your abilities. First no attacking humans. Second no fighting amongst yourselves. Third no belittling other races. That's all." Daddy said. A few people had questions which daddy answered then he gave jobs to everyone, we watched as the people he told to build houses tried to build a house. "Are you sure that's a house?" Daddy asked them. They turned away not wanting to admit something, the house fell to the ground with nothing remaining. "Well it seems we need some help in both the housing and clothing areas." Daddy said. Rigurd nodded and told us about some dwarves that they've traded with once before. "So we're going to the Kingdom of Drawgon. Y/n how about you come with me, I don't want Veldora thinking I'm not looking after you." Daddy said.

"Wait a minute your saying that lady Y/n was cared for by Veldora?" Rigurd asked. Daddy and I nodded while everyone looked at us shocked. "I thought that Veldora was sealed in a cave and no one was ever allowed to go in." Rigur said.

"Well when I got my cat ears and tail my real mom and dad dumped me in that cave thinking I would die, but I found Veldora who looked after me until daddy showed up." I said.

"I see, it is most unusual that the storm dragon would take to a human. However in these times anything can happen. Let's get you two a group to travel with you." Rigurd said running off to see who would join us.

"Master Rimuru would it be alright if I came with you?" Rigur asked.

"Of course, now let's head to the village gate and see who might be coming with us." Daddy said. I nodded heading towards the gate, when we got there Ranga let me climb on top of him so I could ride on him with daddy.
