Chap. 3 The Kingdom of the Dwarves

Y/n's POV

Me, daddy, and Rigur were waiting for a few other goblins to meet up with us. "Lord Rimuru, I believe that we're ready to depart." Gobta said. Following behind him were two other goblins and their dire wolves with them. Daddy nodded, Ranga turned around and let Gobta take the lead riding on Ranga's back was cool feeling the wind against my face was nice. "Don't push yourselves too hard." Daddy said to Ranga.

"Of course, master." Ranga said, speeding up. I smiled and started having a giggle fit as we continued on our way. "Are you enjoying the ride Y/n?" Daddy asked.

"Yes!" I said, smiling. After traveling for a while, the sun started to set, which made everyone stop and set up a campfire. I laid my head against Ranga as they started cooking food. "Are you getting tired there, sweetie?" Daddy asked. I nodded, he handed me a piece of meat that the goblins had cooked. "Eat before you sleep, we're going to have a long day tomorrow." Daddy said. I nodded and started eating the meat, finishing it after a few bites. I laid my head back down on Ranga and felt something cover me. "Lady Y/n, please stay warm with my tail." Ranga said to me. I snuggled close to Ranga to stay warm. The next morning daddy woke me up by shaking me. He helped me crawl onto Ranga, Ranga started heading in the direction that we were traveling yesterday. 

Time skip (give or take about two days)

"Here we are, the Kingdom of Dwargo." Gobta said. We were standing in a line waiting to get into the kingdom. "Well, look what we have here? A little goblin, a slime, and a girl who's a freak." Someone said. We turned to see a couple of men standing behind us, I finally processed what they said and felt tears falling down my face. "Sweetie, are you okay?" Daddy asked. I nodded and tried my best to hide my tears from him. "Gobta, do you remember the first rule I told you to follow?" Daddy asked. 

"Yes, it was to never attack humans." Gobta said. I felt daddy nod before he jumped out of my arms onto the ground, he looked up at me as I tried to hide the tears that were falling. "Sweetie, you're crying." Daddy said. I shook my head and smiled at him. "No I'm not." I said wiping away my tears. He faced the men who were talking to us. "You made my daughter cry, now you get to face me." Daddy said. Gobta was covering his ears and closed his eyes, I just looked away from the fight before hearing a roar come from behind me. Once the roar stopped I turned back to see the men running away from daddy. "Hey! Stop right there!" Someone yelled. I looked back to see people running towards us with what looked like spears. One of them grabbed my right arm and pulled it behind me to cuff me. "Hey stop please don't do that. We'll come peacefully, just please don't cuff her." Daddy said. The one holding my arm let go, I turned to face them and let daddy jump back into my arms. They lead us to a cell making me put daddy in a barrel, after that I listened as they talked about what happened. "Alright, what you say does match up with everything the witnesses said." The guard said.

"Captain! There was an attack in the mine!" Another guard yelled coming near the cell. I watched daddy get out of the barrel and fill it with healing potions. "Excuse me." Daddy said getting the guards' attention. They turned to see what was going on, they started to freak out a bit before daddy showed them the potion. They took it leaving us in the cell with nothing to do, Gobta was sleeping while daddy messed around with Gobta. "Hey, will you two come here a second?" The captain asked. We looked at each other and nodded we walked over to the cell door as he opened it to let us out. "These three are like brothers to me, they were the ones attacked down in the mine." The captain said. They started thanking daddy for the potion, the captain invited us to have some food which daddy accepted. "Thanks again for saving them, let me know if you need anything." The captain said. 

"Well I'm in need of some artisans, the village we live at needs some help with building, clothing and a few other things." Daddy said. 

"I know just the guy, if you two would kindly follow me I can take you to him." The captain said. I picked daddy up and followed after the captain. "I have a quick question, why do you have cat ears and a tail?" The captain asked. I looked at the ground and didn't say anything. "She's doesn't know and neither do I, but she was kind of abused because of it." Daddy said.

"Oh my bad, sorry I didn't mean for you to get upset by it." The captain said. I nodded and looked back at him giving him a small smile. "Alright let's keep moving." The captain said. We arrived at a shop and the captain knocked and walked into the shop. "Hey bro, I've got a couple of people who want to talk with ya." The captain said letting us enter. I felt a blast of heat hit me as we entered the shop. "Just a second." A person said. I stood next to the captain and looked at the person who was making something. I set daddy down on the ground and started looking around the shop, there were weapons hanging on the walls of the shop. I heard people talking before hearing something hit the floor. "Wow, that was amazing!" Someone said. I walked back over to where we entered and saw sword laying on the ground. "Oh who's this?" The guy who was making asked. 

"This is my daughter Y/n, she helps me run that village I told you about." Daddy said.

"She's pretty young to help run a village." The person said. I looked around and saw the three people who I saw in the guard tower. "Well she doesn't really help she just follows me around because she doesn't really trust anyone." Daddy said.

"It's not that I just don't know how people will act around me because of my ears and tail." I said looking away from them.

"I see, well anyways I'll go get these turned in and after lets head somewhere to have a drink." The person said.

"Kaijin, there's a child here. You can't go anywhere like that." The captain said.

"So long as I'm with her I think it's fine, what about you sweetie?" Daddy asked. I nodded and walked over picking him up. "Well it sounds like a plan give me a little while and I'll be back to get ya so we can get a drink." Kaijin said.
