Y/n's POV

After everyone had said their hellos, we headed back home to discuss why Hiro was here with his companions. Mama had me help prepare some dinner since the sun had set and we were finally ready to discuss why Hiro came to Tempest. Once we sat down, mama and the other explained who Hiro was. "Oh, I get it now. Hiro was a childhood friend of yours from the village." Papa said.

"Yes, he was like an older brother to us." Benimaru said.

"More like the group's ring leader." Hiro joked. I heard quiet laughter from mama and Shion before I heard someone else coming towards the room. "Excuse me!" Kumara said, opening the door. I sighed as she walked over and sat in my lap. "Who's this?" Hiro asked.

"This is my younger sister, Kumara, who came to live here with us after we rescued her from someone evil." I explained. Kumara waved to Hiro and his companions before eating some of the food on my plate. "All joking aside, they clearly adored you." Papa said.

"It's deeper than that, but sure, you could say that." Hiro said. Papa looked at him a little confused before Benimaru spoke up. "It's just we consider him our real brother. You see his broken horn? It's a wound he got from protecting me." Benimaru said.

"That's legit. It's like a badge of honor or something." Papa said.

"There's one time that I nearly fell down a cliff, but luckily he was there to rescue me." Mama said.

"Uh-huh, he was also constantly getting into fights with Benimaru." Shion said.

"True and what's worse is he always won those fights." Benimaru said.

"Please, I did lose every once in a while." Hiro said.

"Hiro was easily the strongest one in the village which is why he left to be a mercenary." Kurobe said.

"Well me and ten others, but we weren't blessed with very good employers." Hiro said.

"Which country did you end up working for anyways?" Benimaru asked.

"Jistav, Demon lord Clayman's domain." Hiro said. We all looked at him stunned as I heard growls coming from Kumara. "I thought I'd be able to make some good money, but then I found out the orge village was about to be attacked. So I deserted his army and then I..." Hiro started before not being able to finish.

"I'm sorry." Mama said.

"Don't be. Regrets will change nothing, besides at least I got to see all of you again. For that reason our comrades sacrifices weren't in vain." Hiro said.

"Exactly! You're still alive and that's worth celebrating." Shion cheered. Everyone was happy while Shion took another drink of alcohol. "I was on the verge of death after battling some of Clayman's army when queen Towa of the Kingdom of Raja saved my life. I serve her as my thanks." Hiro said.

"Wait is queen Towa the one who gave you a name?" Mama asked. I could tell that mama was worried about something as she looked at Hiro. "Naming another is a risk to one's own life. It's not something that can just be done on a whim." Mama said.

"Yes, Raja is a very small kingdom that makes its living mining gold. Some time the miners depleted one of their largest gold veins and it's now a mere shadow of the nation it once was. Yet, even in such trying times queen Towa is giving of her own life force to keep the kingdom and her people alive." Hiro explained. He started explaining that the last time the queen used her power she collapsed and she was bed ridden at the moment. He also explained that they were looking to cultivate the forest so that the Kingdom of Raja could be self-sufficient. "That's how I ended up here with these two. But I raised my blade to Geld, no to the citizens of Tempest without even thinking. I beg your forgiveness." Hiro said.

"We're very sorry for attacking you." The soliders with Hiro said.

"Do you have any issues with forgiving him?" Papa asked, looking at me.

"No, I think it's okay. Plus he didn't know that the Orcs are working with us, so it was really just a big misunderstanding." I said.

"But I tried to attack you. Are you sure you can just forgive me so easily?" Hiro asked.

"Trust me, even if she didn't use her aura to stop your attack, you would've lost to her even with a weapon." Benimaru said.

"Are you really that powerful?" Hiro asked looking at me. I just smiled at him before eating some more of my food before Kumara finished it off. "See? No troubles what so ever. I get your reasons for attacks, it's all good." Papa said. Hiro looked up at papa relieved to hear that it was okay. "Oh, but there's still something you need to know." Papa said.

"There's more?" Hiro asked.

"The thing is, both Y/n and I are straight up demon lords." Papa said, unleashing his aura. It knocked both of the soldiers back. "Demon lord?" One of the soldiers asked.

"Amazing right?" Mama asked.

"He crushed Clayman like a bug earning the other demon lords approval." Shion said. Hiro looked at us completely shocked. "Clayman's dead? Wait truly?" Hiro asked.

"Yup sure is, and it was one heck of a show." Shion said.

"Yes, I'm sure." Hiro said.

"So you wanted to cultivate the forest, right?" I asked, trying to get back on topic.

"Hey, Veldora is entry into the forest forbidden? Why?" Papa asked, looking at Uncle Veldora.

"Beats me." Uncle Veldora said.

"Seems cool." Papa said. Everyone was confused about papa just saying Veldora. "Wait, Veldora?" The soldiers asked.

"Oops I forgot to introduce you. This is my friend and Y/n's uncle, Veldora the storm dragon. Hey  say hi to them." Papa said, whispering the last part to Veldora.

"What's up? I am, Veldora the storm dragon. Feel free to enter the forest just don't be too noisy." Uncle Veldora said, before laughing.

"That's Veldora?" Hiro asked.

"Yup, that's Uncle Veldora." I said.

"So you now have permission to enter now so you feel free to do whatever..." Papa started. Auntie Milim came flying up to us complaining. "You're having a party right? Why'd you leave out your bestie for restie?" Auntie Milim asked.

"We didn't, I made some extra food since I figured you'd show up." I said, showing her the food I made for her. She smiled and hugged me before peacefully eating the food. "Thank you for preparing extra food." Papa said. I smiled and nodded before splitting the rest of mine with Kumara.
