Chapter 67

Y/n's POV

Hinata's body hit the ground as the spell finished before papa and I rushed over to her. "Hey are you okay?" Papa asked. We raised Hinata up in our arms as she gathered magic for a spell. As she went to heal herself she coughed up some blood and the spell stopped before papa tried a Full potion on her. "What's going on?" I asked.

"Answer, the individual Hinata appears to have a high resistance to all forms of magic. She is automatically dismantling magicules to negate its effects." Rapheal answered.

"Wait demon lord Rimuru, demon lord Y/n, only holy magic works on Hinata." A guy said, running up to us. 

"Seriously? Then don't just stand there and cast something that'll heal her." Papa demanded.

"Litus, we need you here now." The man ordered. A girl with blonde hair came running over to us only to get stopped as a spell bound her arms to her torso. The guy that was with us also was bound before the other knights that came with Hinata were bound as well. "What's going on?" I asked again.

"Demon lord Rimuru, demon lord Y/n. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. We are known as the Seven Days Clergy." Someone said. A portal opened in front of us as two masked and robed figures stepped through, pointing towards Hinata. "We have come to eliminate Hinata Sakaguchi for betraying our trust and violating our orders." The second man said.

"I don't know what your deal is, but you better stay out of our way. We've already settled our score. If you want Hinata, you're going to have to get through me and Y/n first." Papa said. I turned around staying between papa and the two figures. "Unfortunately, we can not allow her to live." The first figure spoke up. 

"The woman you're trying to protect defied the will of our god. Such an outrageous and unforgivable sin can only be answered with divine punishment." The second figure explained. I heard gasps from the two knights closest to us as they looked at the figures. "No, you can't." The first knight said.

"This must be some kind of mistake. Lady Hinata would never do that." Litus said.

"Should've guessed as much. You must be very proud of yourselves for making a fool out of me. I knew you were planning to get rid of lady Hinata from the...." Leonard started. I heard the sound of something metal going through someone before looking back and seeing Garde stabbing him with his spear. "Garde... What are you doing?" Leonard asked. Garde pulled his spear from Leonard's side, forcing Leonard to the ground in pain and letting him bleed out. "Watch your tongue, scum. I should've cut you down earlier, vile traitor. You were conspiring against us all along." Garde said.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" A different knight asked. I looked to my other side, seeing a guy with white hair speaking up. "Notice, I detect wavelengths coming from the one called Garde that are identical to the ones that interfered with the sword." Rapheal explained. 

"Hey, Shion. That dude's wearing a disguise. Rip it off." Papa ordered. 

"Right." Shion answered.

"And be careful I bet he's part of the Seven Days Clergy." I added.

"You're both sharper than I gave either of you credit for. I suppose there's no point in keeping up this farce." Garde said, ripping his disguise off before jumping over to the other Clergy members. "It would seem poor Garde feel to you in battle. Quite the aggressive move, don't you think?" Garde asked.

"One might think you're trying to start a war with us." A Clergy member added.

"Even if that were true, you're the ones who attack our people in our country." Papa said. Diablo made a report explaining that he had found out who killed Archbishop Rayhiem. He mentioned that it was the Seven Day Clergy before adding the fact that he had three of the members in front of him. After he reported that, he suggested that she shouldn't let any of them live. Uncle Benimaru and Souei stepped in front of me, standing guard and ready to take action if anything happened towards us. Papa ordered Diablo to get rid of the members that were with him while I looked back at papa to confirm I could get rid of the ones in front of us. "Souei, Benimaru, Y/n. Work with Shion to restrain those guys. If they resist, you have permission to use force." Papa said.
