Chapter 31

Usha- "Who is responsible for all this?"
Leela- "I know no mother can see her son in this state, I am sorry on Anita's behalf."
Usha- "Your family has fight with Anita Luthra but why my son is suffering? From the time we have made relation with you, my son is bearing problems, we are reputed family, we don't fight like goons and truth is that I never liked Bani for Veer."

All are stunned.

Leela- "What are you saying?"
Veer(to Usha)- "Mom you are tensed to see me like this that's why saying all this, we should leave."
Usha(to Veer)- "Let me speak."
Usha(to Leela)- "I am a mother and I don't think Bani is right girl for Veer, I have doubt on her character, I feel something fishy with her, I don't think she can be nice wife or daughter in law."
Leela- "Enough, I can't listen anything against Bani, she is my pride, I have trust that Bani can't do anything which will my head down."
Veer(to Usha)- "Swear on me, u will not talk further."

He takes her from there. Leela cries.

Leela- "Usha will break this relation, Veer is best for Bani, Bani should marry Veer only."

Veer(to Usha)- "Mom are you fine? I am fine."
Usha- "You know I don't like Bani, when you don't like her then why you are keeping this relation, I will talk to your father."
Veer- "I am ready to do this marriage." Usha(thinks)- "I know he is saying yes for me but I won't let him destroy his life, I wont let him marry."
Veer(thinks)- "I am sorry mother to lie to you but Bani and I have done deal to not marry so we will not marry."

Anita is crying.

Jay- "I know Leela has insulted you but what I will do with Bani this time, for that insult is very small word, I will not fail this time."
Anita- "Your wounds will heal but the wounds which Leela have given on our souls, that will not heal."
Jay- "I have trapped Bani in my love so that I can destroy her, I will do such a thing that Bani won't be able to show her in world."

Bani is sadly sitting in her room. She recalls how Leela stood up for her. Leela comes there. She wipes her tears.

Leela- "I know you are sad because of Usha, u r afraid of losing Veer, don't be afraid, I won't let this happen, you should understand relations more seriously, if husband is with you then you can win anyone, you should agree to your elders, arrange marriages are more successful as they are done by elders, Veer is best for you, he will keep you happy."
Bani(thinks)- "How to tell Maa that I wanna marry Jay not Veer."

In morning,

Bani(prays)- "God ji, I am confused, give me strength to choose best and the one who is best for me and family, I should go to that side."

She closes her eyes and opens it to Find Veer there.
(Kehte hain Khuda ne kis k lye to banaya hai.. Raabta.. plays)

Veer- "Actually Bani I am sorry for whatever Mom said..."
Bani- "You got injured, I am sorry, doesn't matter if your mom said bitter words for me as we are not going to marry in real."
Veer- "I wanted to say sorry to your mother as she was hurt."
Bani- "I am sorry for Jay's side, he is not like this but he gets angry fast."
Veer- "How much you will defend him?"

Bani gets Jay's call.

Jay(on call)- "I am sorry for last night, I dont know what happened to me, I want to meet Veer and say sorry to him."
Bani(on call)- "He wil meet you, you should say sorry to him."
Veer- "I will not meet him...."

Bani holds his hand.

Bani(on call)- "Veer will come."
(Dil Ibadat instrumental plays)
She looks at Veer.

Leela comes to Usha and tries to talk to her.

Leela- "I have made halwa so thought to bring it here, what you are making in lunch?"

Usha sternly answers her.

Usha- "Why you are doing this? We know what happened last night, I know you are hurt about last night but I can't stay quiet now."
Leela- "Leave that, I understand you were in pain to see your son in pain."
Usha- "Nobody understand Veer more than me and Bani is not his happiness."
Leela- "One day Bani will win your heart then you will realize that you have done best by marrying Bani and Veer."
Usha- "I have nothing in my hands, every decision is taken by my husband and if God wants Veer and Bani's marriage then I can't do anything."
Leela - "Then I don't have any tension as I am sure Bani and Veer are made for each other."

Jay, Veer and Bani are in restaurant.

Jay- "Veer, my weakness is Bani and my anger, I am sorry for last night, let's start afresh."

He extend his hand.

Bani- "Veer shake hands with him."

Veer shakes hands with him. Bani is happy.

Bani- "I will leave, Maa is waiting for me."

She leaves.

Veer- "I will leave too."
Jay- "We should sit for sometime and talk like friends, let's shake hands again."

He extend his hand and deliberately throws water on Veer's pant.

Jay- "Sorry"

Veer goes to washroom to dry it.
Jay messages from Veer's phone to Bani.

"I have thrown party, u should come."

Bubbly reads Bani's message and thinks to go to party.

Jay- "Now Veer is gone."
