Chapter 131

Veer- "Maya, this divorce will happen. Please stop crying."

Bani is overhearing their conversation.

Veer- "I am with you Maya. After that your life will only have happiness."
Maya- "I trust you Veer."

Bani comes in her room and recalls what Veer said. She is in tears.

Bani- "I am not a good wife. But why is Veer doing this? If he likes Maya, he should have told me. How can he think about divorce? I know there was never a relation of wife and husband between us. There was no love in our marriage. But how can he break this relation so easily? Marriage can’t part that easily. That is what Maa says always. I will talk to him about this. I won't let him break our marriage."

Leela(to RS)- "What if this pretention affects Veer and Bani’s marriage?"
Veer- "No, it won't. But I am glad you have chosen Veer for her."
Leela- "How did you manage all this?"

Usha- "Veer, where were you?"
Veer- "I went to drop Maya."
Twinkle(in heart)- "Veer should have talked to me. Why are you doing this to me?"
Usha- "Bani, why are you standing there? Come downstairs."
Usha- "Tomorrow in the evening, Babbe has arranged a havan for both of you. It will remove all the bad eyes on your relation."
Veer- "As she wish."
Bani(in heart)- "How did he agree so easily for the havan? What is going on in his mind?"
Usha- "Bani, did you hear what I said?"
Bani- "Yes, about havan."
Usha- "Now, come to my room and take the list of stuff."

She leaves.

Veer- "Bani, where are you lost since morning? Will you bother telling? Okay, stay silent."

He leaves.

Bani- "Why is Veer taking this so lightly? He is acting like everything is normal? Why am I not talking to him"

Bani goes to room. She slips. Veer holds her. He is shirtless.

Veer- "Can’t you knock?"
Bani- "Can’t you change in bathroom? And this is my room too."
Veer- "Fine, it's my mistake."
Bani- "If there is something you should tell. You can say it now."
Veer- "Yes, there is. When the door is half closed, don’t come in without brake. Knock it and ask can I come in? If I allow you then come in."
Bani- "I have got to know about divorce. I heard you and Maya talking."

Veer is dazed.

Bani- "Why did you conceal it? You didn’t even bother telling?"
Veer- "I thought this is not the right time to tell."
Bani- "I am your wife."
Veer(in heart)- "Why is she so worried about Maya’s divorce?"
Veer- "Why have you become a typical wife? There is no love between us."
Bani- "We don't have that relation but that doesn’t mean we don't respect this relation."
Veer- "I thought I shouldn’t tell you. This divorce will happen. When a couple isn’t happy. They should part."
Bani- "No other chance?"
Veer- "No. I will tell everyone when paper work is done."

Bani leaves in tears.

Veer- "What is wrong with her? What problem does she have with Maya’s divorce?"

Leela(on call)- "Veer said rehearsal will start in a few time."

Bani comes in. She hangs up.

Leela- "What happened? Why you look so upset? Did you fight with Veer?"
Bani- "No."
Leela- "Solve all the problems with him. This is the best phase of life. When you are old you will look back on these moments."
Bani(in heart)- "Veer will leave me. How can I talk to you? I have to keep this promise I made with Veer."
Bani- "Alone, Is life difficult that way?" Leela- "Why are you asking that?"
Bani- "It would have been difficult without Papa?"

Veer calls Maya.

Veer(on call)- "We have a havan. So rehearsals are at night."
Bani- "No. I mean you can take a day break."
Veer- "Point."

Bani sees so many hearts on Veer’s notebook.

Veer- "Maya made them."
Bani(in heart)- "He is saying that so casually."
Bani- "Didn’t you stop her? It looks untidy."
Veer- "What should it matter?"
Bani(in heart)- "Maya can do anything."
Bani- "Are you and Maya so close?"
Veer- "Yes really. Very close. I am helping her with this decision. Now can I study?"
Bani- "Does she know you better than me?"
Veer- "Yes, she is my childhood friend. Let me bring water."
Bani- "I will bring it."
Veer- "No, you will say all life that you brought me water once."
Bani(in heart)- "What's in that Maya that he is leaving me for her?"

Daksh calls Anita.

Daksh- "I am outside Leela’s place."

Daksh stops RS.

Daksh- "Will you shift to your lover’s house?"

RS grasps his collar.

RS- "Don’t say a word about Leela."

He puts in something in RS’s pocket.

Daksh- "If you need my help, I can."
RS- "Get lost."

Bani cuts all the hearts.

Bani- "Such ugly drawing. That Maya must got D in school. I don't know how she made room in Veer’s heart."

Maya texts on Veer’s phone. Bani opens it.

"Thanks for everything."

Veer comes.

Veer- "You are checking my phone? Do I?"
Bani- "I am sorry. I will never do this again."
Bani(in heart)- "What you are doing is wrong?"

Bani(to Noor on call)- "He directly accpeted everything."
Noor(on call)- "I used to be jealous of you that you have such a good husband. I don't believe he can do this. That Maya has provoked him."
Bani(on call)- "Veer isn’t a child."
Noor(on call)- "These girls know how to hook on guys."
Bani(on call)- "He wanna leave me because I hurt him. I will take him out on dinner and talk to him."

Daksh gives a bluetooth to Anita.

Daksh- "I have fixed on in RS’s pocket. We can listen to whatever he talks to Leela."

RS(to Leela)- "This Daksh is so obnoxious. He should have been slapped in childhood. Till when do we have to pretend?"
Leela- "Veer can tell that. We are doing this for Bani."

Anita- "What can it be?"

Leela- "I trust Veer. But I am really worried. How will Bani accept that fact that you are her dad?"

Daksh and Anita are dazed.
