Chapter 122

Leela greets Bani and Babbe. Some sound comes from room.

Bani- "Who is there? I will go and see."

Leela tries to stop her but she goes. Leela, Babbe and Anita come behind her in room.

Leela(thinks)- "Bani shouldn't know about her father."

Husband isn't in room.

Bani- "Whose suitcase is this?"
Leela- "I was clearing my cupboard so I brought it out."
Anita(thinks)- "Leela is freaking out, I have to find out what's going on with her."

Leela’s husband is hiding behind curtain and smiles at Bani.

Leela- "I will make tea for you all."
Babbe- "No need for formality. We are own people of yours."

Leela takes them from there. Anita sees someone shoes behind curtain.

Anita(thinks)- "Leela is having affair. She shows herself so pious but in actual is having affair. I will insult her now and it will be fun."

Bani is getting ready in her room.

Bani- "Veer hasn't returned till now even today. It's Lorhi today. He must be spending time with Maya. I don't care about it. This is my first lohri so I will enjoy it. My husband doesn't care. He must be with his Maya."

Veer comes there.

Bani(thinks)- "He got late and still not saying sorry. He is not even telling why he got late."
Veer- "Bani, why r u not ready?"
Bani- "I should be asking you this question, why you got late?"
Veer- "I told Mom that I will come late."
Bani- "Why you didn't tell...nothing."
Veer- "You are saying that I should have called you? Why are you behaving like typical wife like I have to tell you about everything. Where I go and all."
Bani- "I should know. What if Babbe ask me about you?"
Veer- "You always use Babbe’s card. I am going to get ready."
Bani- "I have taken out your clothes."

Veer looks at her and takes clothes.

Veer- "Thanks."
Bani- "Why you got late?"
Veer- "How does it matter to you?"

He leaves.

Bani- "I do care about it. I am his wife and I should know where he goes, whom he meets."

She finds Veer’s phone.

Bani- "He is my husband and I should check his phone but it's bad manners. I can check his phone to see where he goes but it will be spying. No...No he is my husband so I can check it. Oh lord! I am so confused. I am good girl and I will not check his phone."

Bani leaves.

Daksh is sitting outside Leela’s home and calls Anita.

Daksh(on call)- "I haven't seen any person coming out of Leela’s house."
Anita(on call)- "That means man is still with her. She is having affair."
Daksh(on call)- "If u r sure as we got failed in our snake plan too before."
Anita(on call)- "We got failed because of your foolish. Now keep eye on Leela’s house and tell me when man comes out."

Leela comes to her husband.

He- "Sorry, I mistakenly made noise and Bani came in room."
Leela- "How is ur health?"
He- "I am fine."
Leela- "So you will go tomorrow from here."
He- "I wanna see Bani for one time."
Leela- "No you will have to stay away from Bani and her in laws."
He- "One day truth will come out."
Leela- "The truth which can destroy 4lives shouldn't come out."
He- "I know you also want Twinkle to know me and also want.."
Leeela- "What I want? I want nothing. I haven't forgotten your cheating. You kept lying to me all these years. Leave my house."
He- "I will leave but tell me why did you put sindoor in your forehead?"
Leela- "You can forget your duty as husband but I can't forget my duty as wife but that doesn't mean I can forgive you. You have lost right as husband. Have dinner."

She leaves.

Bani comes in Lohri function, dressed nicely. Veer sees her.

Veer- "Miss Amritsar."

Babbe blesses Bani and makes Veer stand beside her.

Babbe- "Your wife is looking very nice."
Veer- "She is looking same like everyday but yes make up is more."
Bani- "See Babbe, he teases me this way everytime."
Babbe- "I can see everything."

Lohri function starts. Veer and Bani are taking rounds around fire.

Bani- "You are jerk. I don't like to talk to you."
Veer- "I know you are miffed with me because I didn't praise you. Anyone can look pretty by putting make up."
Bani- "You are so cold."

Veer sees Maya coming. He welcomes his college friends and makes Bani meet them.

Maya- "Bani, u r looking pretty."

Veer takes Maya with him and dances with her. Bani looks at them. Bani slips but Veer holds her in time. They share eyelock.

Veer starts dancing with Bani. Bani smiles and dances with him.
Leela comes in function.

Bani- "You missed dance."
Leela- "I had some work."
Bani- "You don't take rest."
Babbe- "Bani, Let Leela ji do rituals first."

Leela is covering her head with dupatta. A guest asks her.

Leela- "I have asked God something so I am wearing this dupatta for it."

Anita brings aarti plate to Leela.

Babbe- "What are you doing? This is for newly wed wives."
Anita- "I don't want Leela to blame me for anything."
Babbe- "What are you saying?"
Anita- "Leela haven't tell anyone so let me tell you. Either Leela has got married or she is going to get married soon."

All are shocked.

Bani- "Anita aunty, you are insulting my Maa."
Anita- "Don't get miffed. This is good news. Your mom’s loneliness will go away and you will get new dad."
Bani- "You can't blame my mother like this."
Anita- "Ask your mom."
Babbe- "Anita do you even know what you are saying?"
Anita- "Leela, they are not agreeing to what I am saying. Why don't you remove your dupatta and show them your forehead. You can't hide sindoor for much time."
Veer- "Anita aunty Enough! I know you like to make issues infront of all but you are crossing limit. I can't listen these things against my Maa."
Anita- "Son in law should be like you. You don't know what is going on in her life but still taking her side. Leela, I will remove ur dupatta."

She is about to remove dupatta from her forehad but Bani holds her hand.

Bani- "Dare you touch my maa else I will forget your relation with me. My mother has promised God to not remove this dupatta and no one can touch her."
Anita- "You are getting angry when I am pointing finger at her. What will you do when whole world will be pointing fingers at her? You were always proud of your mom being pious. What will you do now? The man with whom she is having affair is still in her house."
Veer- "How can you put such cheap blame on her?"
Leela- "You always do these kind of cheap things but I know nothing will happen to me."
Anita- "Why aren't you accepting that you are in love at this age?"
Bani- "She won't stop till we prove her wrong. Okay we will go there and prove you wrong. Maa, come."

Leela gets tensed. She goes with Bani.
