Chapter 55

Veer(thinks)- "I will sleep before Bani comes."

He opens his sherwani buttons for changing. He finds contraceptives in his pockets which Tapish gave to him. He switches on Tv. Bani comes from washroom and finds packet in his hands.

Bani- "Aren't you ashamed?"
Veer- "It's not mine, what were you doing in washroom?"
Bani- "I was changing, Should I inform you before going? and what kind of songs are you watching, your choice is cheap."
Veer- "I was just changing channel."
Bani- "Why you were taking off your sherwani? You thought that I am alone so you can take advantage of me?"
Veer- "Your thinking is cheap."
Bani- "Now just throw this packet away."
Veer- "I will not."

She takes it and throws it away. Room service comes and brings cake for them.

Bani- "What is this?"
Waiter- "Happy marriage Sir and Madam."
Bani(to waiter)- "My name is Bani Sharma then why did you write Bani Singhania, write Bani Sharma on cake."
Veer(to waiter)- "No need, she is married to me so she is Bani Singhania."

He gives him tip. Waiter leaves.

Bani- "My name is Bani Sharma and I wil not change my name."
Veer- "You are married and your name is Bani Singhania."
Bani- "How dare you call me Bani Singhania, call me Bani Sharma."

She takes knife.

Bani- "I will kill you."
Veer- "It's better to die then live life with you."

Bani torns his shirt with knife. Veer gets angry.

Veer- "Bani give me knife."
Bani- "No."

Veer fall on Bani. Both falls on bed which is covered with rose petals. On tv, Roop tera mastana plays. Bani feels awkward. They get up.

Veer leaves.

Bani- "I was Bani Sharma whole life and with just 7 pheras, I became Bani Singhania, why girls have to bear all this, this is not equality, I will not change my name."

Veer comes in lobby.

Veer- "I will not bear her, she is ruling me like dictator, I have to talk to her."

People look at Veer weirdly due to his torn clothes.

Veer- "I will tell her that I am the boss."

He comes in room to find Bani crying.

Veer(thinks)- "I should give her some space, I will talk to her later."

He puts do no disturb board and leaves room. A lady comes out of her room.

Lady- "This hotel’s service is not nice."

She takes Bani room’s do not disturb board and puts it on her room’s door.

Veer(thinks)- "I hope she is fine now, my so called wife, she must have not eaten anything, she will become better after eating, I have promised Maa to take care of her."

He doesn't remember room number. He comes and finds board on other room. He goes in wrong room. It's all dark inside.

Veer(thinks)- "She must have slept."

He goes and sit on bed. He call room service.

Lady- "So you came finally, come near me."

Veer is shocked. She hugs him and starts kissing him. Lady's husband comes there and switches on lights.

Lady's husband- "Who is he?"
Lady- "Idk, he must have come to rape me."
Veer- "I am kid, I am not like this, I came here by mistake, she hugged me so badly, I would have died out of suffocation."
Lady- "I will call cops."
Veer- "I got married today only, you can meet my wife."

They go to meet Bani.

Guard finds tape recorder on road, he puts it in dustbin.

Lady's husband(to Bani)- "You are his wife, you are Bani Singhania."
Bani- "Who Bani Singhania? I am Bani Sharma."
Veer- "She is joking. Bani, tell seriously."
Bani- "I am Bani Sharma not Singhania."
Lady's husband(to Veer)- "You are shameless person, you tried to hit on my wife and now trapping this innocent girl, I will send you to police station."
Bani- "Take him away."
Veer- "I didn't do anything."

Lady's husband takes Veer with him.

Leela(on call to Raman)- "I am thinking to call Bani."
Raman(on call)- "Don't worry about her, Veer is with her."
Leela(on call)- "You know you have to bring Bani for pag phera ritual, inform her to get ready in morning." Raman(on call)- "I will go and talk to her."
Leela(on call)- "I am missing her."

Bani(thinks)- "I didn't do good with Veer, he has helped me alot, also Maa say that we should respect our husband, I should go to free him from cops."

She gets Raman’s call.

Bani(thinks)- "What if Maa had told Mamu about me and Jay."

She takes his call.

Raman(on call)- "I will come to take you and Veer at 8am, be ready."
Bani- "Ok"

He ends call.

Bani- "I have to go to Maa’s home tomorrow, I have to free Veer."

In police station,

Veer(to Inspector)- "I entered wrong room by mistake, I am from reputed family, I will show you my id. I don't have my id now."
Inspector(to Veer)- "You tried to flirt with girl and now not accepting it, don't lie."

Bani comes in.

Bani- "He is not lying, he is my husband."

Veer is miffed.

Veer- "She is not my wife."

Bani looks at him tensed.
