Chapter 46

Anita(to Leela)- "You have arranged such a great party in such small time. Would have been better if it was Amritsar but what happened there to your daughter you couldn’t get her wed there. You came here to hide your face."
Leela- "You are our guest. You must be sad to see my daughter’s wedding on going well. I want you to see how my daughter is getting married happily. It will make me happy. I wanted to kill whatever was between us but you dragged our children in this. This is the biggest triumph for me."
Anita- "Wow you utter such emotional dialogues. We are both here. It's only sangeet that happened, everything else is left. I hope she is fine. She has to see a lot more."
Raman(to Anita)- "You better go from here."
Raman(to Leela)- "Don’t worry she keeps doing this."
Leela- "No I want to see Bani first."

Leela and Raman come to Bani's room. She comes out of washroom.

Leela- "Are you okay?"
Bani- "What happened?"
Raman- "Your mom was worried for you."
Bani- "You are always worried for me. I know what is right and wrong for me now. Anita and Jay can't harm me."
Raman- "She has grown up and we are here for her."
Leela- "You grew up in few days and became mature. You’ll go to your in laws."
Bani- "I will come to meet you daily."
Leela- "You will be busy with Veer." Bani- "Veer is not more important than you."
Leela- "You have to respect him, he is your husband to be."

Usha- "Veer are you concealing something?"
Veer- "No, I am not."
Usha- "You are about to get married."
Veer- "There is no one more important than you to me."
Usha- "You are sacrificing your happiness for your dad."
Veer- "I have promised him that I will marry her. You taught me to keep your promises. It might turn out good for me. No one can take your place."
Usha(in heart)- "I won't let my son live life of a deal."

Usha comes to Mayuri and makes her wear a red chunri.

Usha- "Mayuri will you marry Veer?"
Mayuri- "Aunty, what are you saying?"
Usha- "Tell me you don't have much time."
Mayuri- "But he has to marry Bani in a few days. How will all this happen? Balwant uncle won't let this happen."

Veer and Bani are out.

Bani- "You can stay here I am not disturbed."
Veer- "Your whole world revolves around you. I don’t want stay here to leave because of you."
Bani- "I get scared that is why i was asking you to stay."
Veer- "You get scared too."
Bani- "See no one agrees when you say straight forward."
Veer- "Let's go to garden I will tell you a story."
Bani- "Yes, I like hearing horror stories in dark."
Veer- "You are completely mad. You talk so much. I am sure you even talk to yourself. Wow I look so good, wow let accuse Veer of something new."
Bani- "You are out of my comprehension."
Veer- "I think we have to spend life with confusion. I don't understand to either."

Balwant(to Usha)- "Shukla is coming, get everything ready."

Leela and Bani come in.

Usha- "How about Bani makes food for Shukla."
Leela(in heart)- "Bani doesn’t know how to cook at all."
Balwant- "Bani is the lucky charm of this house. Shukla will be so happy to eat food made from her hands.I know you can Bani."
Bani- "If you and Aunty want, I will make it for him."

Balwant leaves.

Usha- "Bani you have to make it alone without any help."

Usha leaves.

Leela- "Bani, you don’t know how to cook how will you do it."
Bani- "I have common sense and courage. I will do it for my in laws."
Leela- "You’ll be a good daughter in law."

Bani comes to kitchen.

Bani(to Usha)- "What to do?"
Usha- "You have around 1 hour. Start making it, Shukla must be coming any time."

Leela comes as well.

Usha- "Where are you going?"
Usha- "If you go there she might get confused. Bani will do it."
Leela- "Yes you are right."

Bani is cooking. Leela prays for her.

Leela- "I hope Bani doesn’t make any mistake."
Raman- "Why are you worried?"

Leela tells him everything.

Leela- "I am really worried, I don’t want her to be insulted."

Veer overhears all this.
