Chapter 76

Babbe comes to Surjeet.

Babbe- "What's this drama? Will Leela ji dance on song? Atleast think about her age."
Surjeet- "These fun do happen in marriages and dancing have nothing to do with age, and Punjabis dance to enjoy every function."
Anita- "As they say age doesn't matter when you have to enjoy, Leela’s daughter have got married in this house but Leela will dance here, Leela not be spoil sport and dance."

She starts music (Mera naam Mary h). Leela starts dancing.

Bani(thinks)- "Why Maa is doing all this?"

Anita glares Leela. Leela dances more on item song. All are tensed. After dance, Anita comes.

Anita- "What a performance, I liked it, you can dance well in this age too."
Veer(thinks)- "I have stop this drama."

Veer comes on dance floor and wipes Leela’s tears. He acts on song Jeena yahan marna yahan song and dances with Leela. Bani thanks Veer in heart. Veer happily dances with Leela.

Anita(thinks)- "Leela’s drama was going on but this Veer had to come inbetween and destroy the one."
Veer(to Leela)- "Maa I will take revenge from Anita aunty for insulting you, I know you are hiding something, what is it?"

Leela recalls.

Flashback start.

Anita- "Leela u have to dance in my engagement and if she doesn't do it then Bani wil have to bear consequences, what if I tell Babbe that Bani had affair with my son Jay then Babbe will throw her out, so you have listen to everything what I say."

Flashback ends.

Veer- "I know you are doing all this for Bani."

He ends dance. All clap for them.

Bani(thinks)- "I won't let Anita’s succeed, I have to answer her back."
Bani- "I will remember this day as Surjeet tau ji and Anita aunty are getting engaged, this day is special for Surjeet tau ji and Anita aunty so Anita aunty should do performance for Surjeet tauj ji, he should know what a great dancer you are."
Veer(thinks)- "Waah meri sherni, I will have to accept u r clever, u turned Anita’s trick on Anita only."
Leela- "Veer, what Bani is doing?"
Veer- "She is your daughter and will take revenge for you."
Bani- "Anita aunty u have to make Surjeet tau ji feel special by dancing for him."
Surjeet- "Yes, Anita ji should dance."

Bani turns on music.

Anit(thinks)- "Bani is acting very smart."

Veer- "Maa, your daughter is smart, she threw Anita’s trick on her only."

Anita is about to start dance but someone fires bullet. It's Jay. He comes in.

Jay- "Stop this drama."

He has gun in his hands and is drinking wine. He fires in air. He comes to Anita.

Anita- "Jay, Put gun down."
Jay- "No, Mom how can you do this to me? You are getting married and that to the relative of Veer, you should be thinking about my marriage, my happiness but you are trying to fix your wedding, aren't you ashamed of all this? I am very unlucky, whoever I loved in life, they cheated me only, Mom if u have any respect for my emotions? I won't let this engagement happen."
Anita- "Don't do this."
Jay- "Why not? If you can cheat me then why can't I?"
Anita- "I thought I will tell you after engagement."
Jay- "You thought I would take your palanquin to Singhania house, truth is you wanted to do marriage and then tell me."
Babbe- "What is all this? Anita you didn't tell about marriage to your son and this is your son? He seems like a brat and how dare you come in my house with gun? Did Anita raised you like this?"
Jay- "Shut up you old lady, why are you coming inbetween when I and my mom are talking, don't come inbetween else I will fire you."

Veer comes in between.

Veer- "I don't know about you but elders are respected here, if your mother has hidden such big thing from you then it's none of our business, do this drama in your house, if you try to misbehave with my Babbe then I will cut your tongue."
Surjeet- "Veer how dare you talk inbetween my family matters? Jay come aside, we will talk and settle things.
Jay- "Don't speak inbetween, I have not come to talk but to finish you."

He points gun at Surjeet. Anita tries to stop him but he pushes her away.

Veer- "Jay stop it."

Jay points gun at Veer. All are shocked.

Jay- "What's your problem Veer, why you come in my matters? Today I will kill you."

Bani stands infront of Veer.

Bani- "Jay you have to kill me before killing Veer, fire and kill me."

Jay pushes her away.

Jay- "Don't come inbetween."

He points gun at Surjeet and fires at him but Anita comes forward and bullet hits her hands. All are shocked, Anita falls down.

Surjeet- "Anita ji open my eyes, what you did? To save my life, you..."

Bani comes to her too.

Babbe- "I am sorry Surjeet, no one can love you more than this women, she is truly your life partner, she put her life in danger to protect you, I bless you both."
Surjeet- "I got your blessing so now no one can stop me, I will marry her rightnow."

He cuts his hand and fills Anita’s maang with his blood as sindoor. All are shocked.

Surjeet- "I accept Anita as my wife and will see who will be able to separate us."
Leela(thinks)- "Past should not haunt my Bani, protect Bani from Jay and Anita."

Anita kicks Kalash. Babbe does their aarti and tilak. Anita and Surjeet takes her blessing.

Babbe- "Did you talk to Jay?"
Anita- "I have talked to him, he is miffed but will see me happy with Surjeet and will get happy too, Babbe will u not give me Shagun? I have right to take it."
Babbe- "Why not? Your marriage happened suddenly so I couldn't get anything."

She shows Bani's bangles to Anita.

Babbe- "This is our traditional bangles I will make same for you and will give it to you."
Anita- "I should get shagun today only, make me wear Bani's bangles."
Babbe- "How can I do that?"
Anita- "These bangles are old fashioned and will suite me more so give it to me."
Babbe- "Bani I will make new style bangles for you, give these to me."

Bani stares Anita.
