Chapter 170

Leela- "Bani, I know you didn't do wrong but Veer is your husband. You shouldn't have hidden anything from him. Marriage is a relation in which you have to trust your partner and then no problem will happen. Veer is understanding. He would have understood."
Bani- "Maa, I didn't want Veer to get hurt. I was protecting him only but he is not understanding. He didn't stop me when I was leaving home."
Leela- "His mother was threatening to take her life. He is miffed with you and rightly so, also his father is in ICU."
Bani- "We are started getting along well now only and this happened."
Leela- "Trust God, everything will be fine."

Jay drinks wine.

Jay- "Finally, I won today after so much failure."

Mahi comes there.

Mahi- "Jay? You are drinking wine? You said, you don't drink."

She takes glass from him.

Mahi- "It's not good smell."

Jay is drunk and pushes her away.

Jay- "Who the hell are you to snatch glass from me? You understand that you should do anything when I ask you to do. Let me celebrate my victory. Today your sister got to know her real place. U drink too. Your sister was thrown out of house today. Your problems are gone too. You can roam in house like free bird. Comeon, drink."
Mahi- "I don't drink. I didn't know you drink wine."
Jay- "Now you know."

Mahi gets tensed seeing this side of him.

Bani comes on terrace. She looks at Veer’s room from balcony.

Bani- "Veer, come to balcony. Show me your face once. Make me listen your voice once. I am missing you alot. I know you are angry with me but just come out once. I will do anything you say."

She sees shooting star.

Bani(prays)- "Please Lord, show me Veer’s face once."

Veer comes on balcony on his room too. Bani sees him and smiles. He looks on surprised.

Veer looks away and turns to leave. Bani gets sad. Bani’s dupatta falls on Veer’s face. He looks at it emotionally. Veer throws away dupatta. It falls on Bani’s face. Veer leaves. Bani takes off dupatta and looks on sadly.

Bani- "You are tensed because of me, Veer. You are hurt because of me. I am in pain too seeing you hurt. I am sorry and I really miss you. I love you Veer."

It's morning, Veer is in sleep. He calls out Bani’s name.

Bani is sleeping in her room.

Bani(in sleep)- "Good morning Veer, I will get ready and bring your coffee."

Veet(in sleep)- "Don't take time in washroom. Bring my coffee."

Bani(in sleep)- "I will not take much time in washroom."

Veer wakes up and doesn't find Bani beside him on bed. Bani wakes up and sees herself in Leela’s house. She gets sad.

Bani- "I will message Veer."

She messages Veer. Veer reads Bani’s message.

"Sorry"

Bani waits for his reply.

Bani- "Atleast send me a smiley."

Veer deletes Bani’s message.

Babbe- "Leela ji, I don't have words to explain anything. Everything happened so fast. Ballu is in ICU and Usha took knife to kill herself. I couldn't do anything. I am sorry for not stopping Bani from going."
Leela- "It's not your fault. I understand Usha’s anger. She will understand. I just want Veer to forgive Bani. They need to talk."

Veer comes there.

Veer- "Babbe, who is in hospital?"
Babbe- "Usha and Tapish have gone there. We need to talk to you."
Leela- "Veer, I know you are miffed with Bani and rightly so. She hided big thing from you and it's not good but she didn't do it deliberately. She didn't want to hurt you that's why she didn't tell you anything. Forgive her else she will be tensed there and you will be tensed here."
Babbe- "It's not good that daughter in law of house is not here. She did mistake but you did too. Remember when Jay was doing drama of being kid, Bani kept telling you that Jay is acting but you didn't listen to her. But she didn't get angry with you. Now go and bring her back."

Veer thinks.

Bani prays to Lord for Balwant.

Bani- "Maybe everyone will forgive me when daddy ji becomes fine. I know this is testing time for me and Veer. What I did was to save Veer from getting hurt. I didn't do anything deliberately. I am sure. Veer will understand me soon. He can't be miffed with me for long. When he will calm down, he will come to talk to me."

Veer comes there. Bani turns and smiles seeing him. She thanks Lord.
Bani comes to Veer.

Bani- "I knew you will forgive me. I am sorry."
Veer- "I have come here on Maa’s insistence. Maa and Mom are same for me. I respect her alot and can't see her tensed. Maa wants me to forgive you and take you back. I can't forget what you did with me. I have come here for them but I think our relation need space. We need space from each other."
Bani- "What you mean?"
Veer- "We need to be away from each other to deal with things, to handle our families. What you did, I can't forget it. I don't know when I will be able to forgive you. I don't know what will happen next but for time being we should not stay together. We need break from each other."

Bani is shocked and hurt listening this.

Bani(thinks)- "I never thought that space between us will increase so much that you would want to make me away from you."

Veer starts to leave.

Bani(thinks)- "Give me hope Veer, just turn once and see me so that I can have faith in our relation."

Veer turns and looks at her. Bani emotionally looks at him. Veer leaves. Bani stands there in tears.

Bani comes to Guradvarah.

Bani(to priest)- "My father in law is ill so me and my husband want prayers for him. Can it happen today?"
Priest- "Where is ur husband? For this ardas(prayers), he needs to be here."

Bani gets silent. Veer comes there.

Priest- "Here he is. Usha is with him too"

Bani greets her.

Priest- "How is Balwant?"
Usha- "He is not fine."
Priest- "He will be fine. Your daughter in law wanted to do ardas for him."

Veer looks on surprised.
