Chapter 66

Leela(to Usha)- "Bani and Veer are made for each other."

Jay gives money to nurse.

Jay- "Go and do my work."

Veer is sitting in Bani's room. Nurse comes and acts like she fell down. Veer goes to help her. Jay comes in room and puts glass powder on thread which Veer was using to make sieve(channi) for Karwachauth. Veer  comes back. Jay hides. Veer starts making channi. His hands get cut due to powder on thread. His hand bleeds.
Veer speeds up Bani's drip, blood drop falls one her forehead and looks like Sindoor.

Veer- "Thank God Bani is not making this sieve."

All comes in.

Leela- "Veer, How did ur hand get cut?"
Veer- "This thread had glass powder on it and my hand got cut by it."
Leela- "Why did u use it then?"

Usha and Leela starts putting cream on his wounds.

Veer- "I am fine and you both should be happy that first ritual of Karwachauth is done."
Usha- "What was the need to do it?"
Veer- "It was needed for Bani, what's next ritual."
Usha- "You don't need to do anything."
Veer- "Bani can't do these rituals in this state so I will do it for her as I am her husband and won't let her down like this and I believe that if I do these rituals then Bani will become fine soon, tell me what I have to do?"
Usha(to Veer)- "Shukla has said that there is Mandir near Highway, you have to bring sand from there, glass will be made from it only which will be used in pooja."
Raman- "That Mandir is very dangerous, it was far away from city and no one goes there."
Leela and Usha- "Veer, not go there."
Veer- "I will go there for Bani, I need to do this and nobody will stop me."

He starts leaving. Leela gives Veer Bani's dupatta.

Leela- "Bring that sand in her dupatta so she will be part of ritual too and be careful, you have to cross jungle to go to that Mandir, cross it safely."

She blesses him. Veer leaves.

Veer is going to Mandir. Leela is with Bani and prays for her. Bani starts taking deep breathes, Leela gets tensed and calls doctor. Doctor checks Bani and treats her.

Veer is driving car, his car’s break fails.

Jay comes to Usha in hospital.

Jay- "How is Bani? I mean my Bani? I have listened that she is serious but I am worried more for Veer."

Flashback starts.

Jay listening the conversation of Veer and Leela when she gave him dupatta.

Flashback end

Jay(to Usha)- "I told you to not put your son in danger but you made him marry Bani, if you had made me marry Bani then Veer would be safe today."

Leela and Raman listens this too.

Raman- "Shut up else.."
Jay- "Else what? Will you beat me? But Bani will not come this way, I am advising you to not take much tension as you are growing old. Usha ji anything can happen to Veer too, I am just saying that suppose he is driving and his accident happens then what?"
Raman- "Leave."
Jay- "No one can stop Bani and Veer  leaving this world."

He leaves. All are tensed.

Bani is not breathing. She is given electric shocks to revive her. She becomes conscious.

Bani- "Veer..."

All come to her.

Bani- "Where is Veer? Call him."
Raman- "Veer has gone to Mandir for you only."
Bani - "Mamu, I have seen bad dream that Veer is in some danger, call Veer, I wanna see him, I won't drink anything."

Leela(prays)- "Thanks Lord for reviving Bani and plz make her fine as Veer is taking care of her too, give him reward by making Bani fine completely."

Raman comes.

Raman- "Bahena, Bani has become conscious."

Leela is about to go to meet her but then stops.

Leela- "No, I can't go to her."
