Chapter 40

Balwant is coming back to his home. Media is gather around there. They ask about Veer found with Bani in compromising position.

Leela comes back to her house with Bani. Media is there too. Anita sees all this.

Anita- "This is done by me, Leela should thank me."

Leela brings Bani in home.

Raman- "How media got to know about it?"
Pinii- "When it is about girl’s disrespect then news spread like fire, there were so many guards, they would have informed everything. Bani u tell clearly what was happening there? Were you romancing Veer there?"
Raman- "How can you ask such questions to her?"
Pinni- "All are thinking about it."
Leela- "Enough, all are saying and you have started too, I trust Bani."

She takes Bani from there.

In Balwant home,

Veer(to all)- "Trust me I have not done anything."
Balwant- "You are responsible for all this, you didn't want to marry Bani and so you did all this so that Leela will say no for marriage."
Veer- "I can't stoop so low, how can I do this with Bani? I can't."
Balwant- "I don't know but for society you are criminal against Bani."
Usha- "Anyone can says anything but I completely trust my son. I know he can't do this"

Leela- "Bani I will handle everything, I will handle media and society, I will answer them all but you don't worry."

Media gathers around Leela’s house.

Veer- "Dad, I don't care if you believe me or not but I have taken decision that I will not marry Bani."

He starts leaving. Balwant points gun at him and loads. He calls Veer. Usha is shocked and screams Veer. Veer turns to find Balwant pointing gun at him.
Tapish, Nikki and Usha ask Balwant to put gun down.

Balwant points it at Veer.

Veer- "Shoot me, you can kill me but I won't marry Bani."
Balwant- "If you don't marry Bani then I will shoot myself."

He puts gun on his own head.

Balwant- "Be ready to marry Bani or be ready to give shoulder to my deadbody."

Usha comes forward.

Usha- "You know they have alleged Veer wrongly."
Balwant- "I don't know anything. Veer do you agree for this marriage or not."

He is about to press button of gun. Veer looks on shocked.

Leela comes out and let's media come in. Media ask about issue.

Media- "Did you give Bani much freedom than needed?"
Leela- "What you know about Bani that you are taking about character? I know she is modern but she has manners, I am single mother but I have instilled good values in her, my daughter is my pride, leave from here."

Bani and Jay listens all this.

Balwant is about to shoot himself. Usha faints. Veer snatches gun from Balwant.

Veer- "I will marry Bani."

Balwant is happy.

Balwant- "I will meet Leela and sort out everything."

Media- "Leela ji there are many allegations on Bani that she has many boyfriends."

Bani comes forward.

Bani- "I will answer you all but I wanna ask you first who all are you to ask me about my bfs? Who are you to point fingers at my mother’s upbringing, we are responsible citizens and we have right to do anything."
One media person- "This means you are saying you had physical relation with Veer?"
Bani- "I didn't say that."
One media person- "Because of Veer, Bani's respect is maligned, she is going through all this because of him."

Veer and Balwant comes there too.

Bani- "My mother has not done any mistake by choosing Veer for me, nothing happened between me and Veer, my marriage will happen with Veer only."

Jay fumes with anger listening this.

Balwant(to media)- "She is right, this marriage will happen on grand scale."

Media leaves. Bani and Veer stares each other.

Jay(to himself)- "Bani will not marry Veer as she is mine only and she has to become mine forever."

Bani- "Veer you have stooped low, I was just trying to help you."
Veer- "I came there to say sorry, I can't do such cheap act, you think that I can take advantage of a girl like this?"
Bani- "What I saw I am saying it."
Veer- "I have agreed for this marriage because of my parents, I can't hurt them, marrying you is not my happiness but helplessness."
Bani- "I am also marrying you because of my mother, even after knowing what type of a boy you are, I am ready to marry you as I can't hurt my mother, I will not cry in home thinking about your cheap act, if you do anything then I will answer you back, you have seen my friendship now you will see my Tashan(ego)."
Veer- "You will see my Tashan too."

He leaves.
