Chapter 5- Sub Group Debut

Today is the day where your sub group, Girls Generation-Pure is going to debut. You were really nervous because it was considered as a sexy concept. While you were travelling to MBC for the recording of Show Music Core, you were practising your high notes. You were screaming each note starting from high ''do". When your unnies heard you screaming, they started laughing at you.

SooYoung: GaHeun-ar! What are you doing? Screaming so early in the morning.

You: I'm practising my vocals so I can hit the high notes later. I don't want to embarrass myself in front of all our fans.

HyoYeon: Who taught you that technique though? It's so unusual?

You: a friend of mine.

HyoYeon: you mean one of the trainees? You shouldn't hang around them a lot you know.

You: I know. I don't always go there anyway. The last time I saw them was a month ago.

Tiffany: Ok. As long as you protect yourself, it's fine.

Although you're close with all your members now, there's always this gap since there is a large age gap between you and the members...7 years to be exact. They're the same age as JinKi. It was hard for you to communicate with them for the first 2 years when you guys met; one year of training and one year of debut. However, after the success of "Gee", they accept you for who you are because your Korean improved. The person that loves you the most is Sunny. Sunny is always there for you. She was criticise for debuting after joining the company for a year, just like you, because she is Lee SooMan's niece. Hence, she knew how you feel when you were bullied. Hence, you guys were roomates ever since you started living in the dorms. Tiffany and TaeYeon also take care of you after they're familar with you. Whenever you struggle, Tiffany will help you translate. The members that dislike you the most when you first debut is probably Jessica and HyoYeon. This is because they have trained for 7 years before they debut and you got to debut after training for only a year. Hence, they feel really unfair. You feel sorry for them so whenever they order you to do stuff, you will help them. With that being said, as the maknae, you have to serve your unnies. Whenever there is too much, SeoHyun would help out because she's the second youngest. However, Sunny would yell at the rest of the members if the members are too demanding.

You reach MBC building to do the recording. As you got off, you saw the fans outside. You greeted them as you walked into the building. Then you went into the waiting room where you get your make up donw and change into your outfit. You were trying to relax the whole time. However, you were slightly nervous. Your manager then calls your whole group out because you will do a rehearsal before you actually record. Before you walked out, you check your phone. You saw a message from JongDae.

Text message from JongDae

JongDae: GaHeun-ar. I wish you and the other sunbaenims a successful recording and debut. You'll do fine! Don't forget the technique that I taught you :P. BaekHyun, ChanYeol, JoonMyun, YingXing and I will be watching you on TV. Fighting!

You smiled as you read the text message. Besides JongDae, you received a message from your brother.

JinKi: GaHeun-ar! I didn't know you were going for a sexy concept! Aiya! You should have told me then I could have complain! You know how much the other SHINee members are bagging me now? They keep teasing how they'll only watch you perform instead of the whole group. These kids...going to give them a punching session when the broadcast finishes (especially TaeMin!).
