You were walking towards the meeting room at the SM building. You know that today, you will have a meeting with the CEO about some plan that you have barely heard of. You knocked on the door before opening it. You saw the CEO sitting at the centre with his secretary next to him. You also saw JongDae sitting on the left of the CEO. You walked up and bowed to him.
You: seonsangnim
CEO: GaHeun. Have a seat.
You walked over and took a seat next to JongDae.
CEO: Lee SooMan seonsangnim cannot come today so I will be in charge of doing the explanations. Today, we're going to be talking about revealing your relationship to the public. The company and I think that the best time to reveal your relationship is right before MAMA. So let's say on the 2nd of December at around 3AM. We're not happy about how Mnet is giving most of it's performance time to YG instead of spreading it to us equally. for example, Red Velvet could not even perform. EXO is lucky to score 13 minutes. However, SHINee and f(x) are only getting 5 minutes. TaeYeon and GaHeun are only getting 3 minutes, although we're doing something with GaHeun's performance which could piss Mnet off. We're still dealing with that at the moment. Each group in YG gets 10 min plus. Hence, the focus will definitely be on them. are there any questions?
You: so how would you want us to announce it to the public?
CEO: GaHeun, you will do it via SNS. So your instagram account. JongDae will be doing it via his fanclub.
JongDae: what's the other plan with GaHeun?
CEO: we're going to sneakly readjust GaHeun's song, "Good Day." It will be Good Day, Party, Good Day. During Party, we will invite all the SM Town people, as well as other smaller companies to join us on stage to party with us. That will extend from 3 minutes to 7 minutes.
You: so for party, i will have to sing the whole song?
CEO: most of it.
You: ahhhh i see
CEO: we will worry about that later. The most important thing is to reveal your relationship a couple of hours before MAMA starts. JongDae will go to the press conference with JoonMyun in the morning. They will definitely ask you questions during that time. By then, during MAMA, the focus will be on the two of you. Hence, act smart. Are there any questions?
Both you and JongDae shook your head.
CEO: well it has been a pleasure to see the two of you. We will see you around soon.
JongDae and you got up and bowed to the CEO. Then you head out. JongDae and you went to take the lifts together.
You: I can't believe we're announcing our relationship soon
JongDae: me too. I wonder how the public will react
You: sorry oppa
JongDae: why?
You: for dragging you into this. If only if my unnies didn't say anything...
JongDae: jagi. It's not your fault. It's the company's decision
You: but your fans....
JongDae: My fans doesn't matter. If they truly love me, then they will support me. True fans will support my relationship with you.
You nodded. JongDae gave you a peek on the forehead.
JongDae: come and watch us practise for MAMA. We're learning the dance for lightsaber.
