Chapter 60 - The Love I Committed

After JongDae's birthday that week, the two of you were free during the weekend. It wasn't really "free" free, the two of you were able to meet up during the weekend. Tonight, you were waiting for him at Han River. He wanted to stroll along Han River with you after his practice for his new sub group. As you waited, you messaged your friends in Australia. You missed them really badly. A whole bunch of them were planning to come and visit you during their university summer break. Since you owe a penthouse, it was easier for your relatives and friends to come to Korea as they would have somewhere to stay. It didn't take you long to wait for JongDae. He popped up in 15 minutes. JongDae saw that you were on your phone. Hence, he sneaked behind and scared you.

JongDae: boooO!

You jumped from your seat. JongDae laughed.

You: ya oppa! you scared me!

JongDae: i'm sorry. but you were so cute!

JongDae then gave you a hug and a peek on the lips.

JongDae: how is my jagi? you looked tired.

You: sort of. I was all over the place today. It was pretty much schedule after schedule.

JongDae: naww. If I knew, i should have told my wife to wait for me at home.

You: where is home?

JongDae: your penthouse.

You smiled. JongDae held on your hand and the two of you started your stroll along the Han River. It was nice because it was late at night and there were hardly anyone. JongDae and you decided not to wear any disguises to make it less obvious. You realised that wearing disguises makes it more obvious that the two of you were celebrities. However, you were wearing glasses as you took your contacts off. 

JongDae: by the way. i forgot to tell you. I leased our apartment in SiHeung.

You: oh why?

JongDae: your penthouse is a lot closer than ours at SiHeung. Also, we have been going to your penthouse more lately. It's better not to waste a house.

You: true. I think that 2 of my friends were planning to look for a place to lease. I'll ask them if they're interested. 

JongDae: that's a good idea. it's better to lease it to someone that we know than a stranger.

You: yeah. By the way, how are you lately?

JongDae: huh?

You: you seem tired lately as well. 

JongDae: the dance for the unit with MinSeok hyung and BaekHyun is no joke. it's pretty hard

You: but you're like really good at dancing now

JongDae: ya! don't joke around with me!

You laughed. JongDae and you continued the night strolling along Han River. A handful of fans recognised the two of you. They asked to take photos with you two and you two agreed. After the stroll, the two of you returned to your penthouse, where you guys cuddled and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, you woke up before he did. You were still under his embrace, feeling his warmth. you grabbed your phone to check the time. It was still relatively early. 6:35AM. You decided to go on facebook to pass time as you feel comfortable under JongDae's embrace. The first thing that popped up from your newsfeed shocked you the most.
