Chapter 53 - Radio Star

You were watching TV as you were bored. JongDae had just finished his American tour. You haven't seen him in ages. The only time you saw him while he was on the tour was when he  made a short return for the 5th Gaon Chart K-POP Awards. Besides EXO, TaeYeon and you received awards as well. Moreover, TaeYeon and you performed together during the award ceremony. However, that was for an extremely short time. You were only able to see JongDae that day. The two of you only exchange greeting with one another, which sort of upset you. As you watched the TV at your house in SiHeung since you wanted peace and quiet, you realised that Radio Star was on. To your surprise, JongDae was on that episode. You paid extra attention to the show.

Kim GuRa: Next we have a true Hallyu Idol Star on the show that is extremely perfect for this concept. We couldn't think of anyone that is more suitable than him. You were laughing when he said that introduction. You found it funny and cute. As JongDae sat down, you could see that he was tensing up. After all, you knew that he was going to talk about you and him. You found it weird that he or KyuHyun didn't tell you anything about the filming of Radio Star. You guess you were just too busy since you had to juggle your next solo debut, your radio DJ and your new MC shows all in one go. Moreover, you were and attentive student at uni as well. 

Kim KookJin: so Chen. I heard that you called KyuHyun for some advice when you found out that you were on Radio Star. However, he acted sulky over the phone?

JongDae: hahaha. Kyuhyun hyung was like, 'You don't usually call me, why are you calling me to say you're going to be on 'Radio Star'? You're from the 'Ryeo-Line!'

KyuHyun: We used to meet up with ChangMin  together as a trio, and so I thought 'Chen takes good care of me!' But then Ryeowook came on the show and talked about the 'Ryeo-Line''

Yoo JongShin: KyuHyun is really cliquish 

Kim KookJin: so who do you choose? Kyu-Line or Ryeo-Line?

You could see the awkwardness in JongDae as he rubs his neck.

KyuHyun: I think he's closer with RyeoWook.

JongDae: I'll choose whatever GaHeun chooses. GaHeun is part of the Kyu-Line so I have to choose the Kyu-Line.

The others started laughing.

Kim GuRa: that's very cute of you.

KyuHyun: Then why don't you hang out with us anymore?

JongDae: hyung! you never invite me to your events! It's only when GaHeun or ChangMin hyung invites me to the events, I'll come along. You only take care of SuHo hyung!

Yoo JongShin: that's your fault then KyuHyun.

KyuHyun: I'm sorry. Then I'll start inviting you to our gatherings then.

Kim GuRa: Is there a reason why SM decided to choose you instead of the other EXO members?

JongDae: I think it's because Radio Star is tough. Most of the members can't show the real side of them as they hesitate to answer questions. However, I'm as hard as a rock. I can't exactly tell lies.

Yoo JongShin: that's good then. We need someone like you.

JongDae: also, I heard that Kim GuRa-ssi said that SuHo hyung is boring.

Kim GuRa: he is! even KyuHyun agrees.

KyuHyun: yes. I have to admit that.  

You found that section hilarious. You kept on watching. The show did really entertain you. They asked him about his popularity in China and how he feels about his super power concept. You were extremely into the show. However, a section caught you off guard as you were slightly shock for it.
