Chapter 30 - Silent Treatment

JongDae: nonna. Can I meet up with you at the rooftop. I need to give you something.

TaeYeon got a message from JongDae and decided to go up to the rooftop. He saw JongDae just sitting there looking miserable.

TaeYeon: what's wrong with you? It's GaHeun's birthday. Shouldn't you be celebrating with her??

JongDae gave her your phone.

JongDae: she left her phone at our apartment so we couldn't contact each other at all.

TaeYeon: That's right. She got yelled by our manager today for misplacing her phone.

JongDae: where is she now?

TaeYeon: celebrating with her fans. She brought Lay and JinKi along so she could show her fans a family portal

JongDae: ahhhh ok

TaeYeon: is there something wrong with you two? GaHeun was giving us the silent treatment when we were rehearsing this morning. She didn't talk to anyone and just sang and danced her parts. She doesn't do that unless she is really pissed off or upset.

JongDae: nonna...I. ..I feel really bad.

JongDae broke down and cried while TaeYeon tried to comfort him.

TaeYeon: nonna can help you if you tell me everything.

JongDae: nonna...I. ..was drugged yesterday. TaeYeon: you didn't...

JongDae: no and I'm sure I didn't. We only kissed and stripped. That's it.

JongDae: my friend.

TaeYeon: is she in the entertainment business?

JongDae: yes. She's DaHye from Bestie.

TaeYeon: how are you guys related?

JongDae: she's my first girlfriend. We dated in year 6.

TaeYeon: cute. Anyway, I'll talk to her about it. Don't worry. Just rely on nonna.

JongDae: thank you nonna. I'll take care and look out for BaekHyun for you.

TaeYeon: it's getting late. Go back to bed. Goodnight.

JongDae and TaeYeon went back to their dorms. When TaeYeon entered her dorm, she could see that the lights are still off. It's so late and she'snot back yet. Wonder where she went.
