Chapter 59 - Chen's Birthday Party

JongDae and your relationship is still very steady. You were surprised yourself. You were celebrating his 25th birthday tomorrow. His "half 50" birthday. However, the trouble is that you have been so busy with your schedule that you basically barely have time. Besides being a busy university student, you were a DJ (sometimes when you're busy, you get JongDae to replace you as a special DJ), an MC in a variety talk show and a drama. Luckily the drama was a supportive role. Hence, you didn't have to act as much. However, it is still crazy! There were many occasions where you will faint in August. The biggest one and the most concerning one is probably when you fainted on the way to university on the train. If you didn't bump into your friend, Tony, then you don't know where you would be. That made headlines. JongDae and many fans have urged you to take a week off. However, you only took a day off as you let JongDae DJ for you for that night (the day you fainted was on a Tuesday). When SM went to Hawaii, you couldn't go because of your schedule. However, you managed to squeeze in some rest as JongDae didn't go as well. The two of you spent time on the two days where you have no schedule at all. The two of you secretly went to Jeju island to rest and play. Of course, those were precious time for the two of you as you could sort of say it's your "honeymoon."

Tonight is the night before JongDae's party. You were currently at MBC radio station, waiting for your broadcast time. You were waiting for XiuMin as he is your partner. As you read the script, you saw MinSeok walking in.

You: oh! MinSeok oppa!

You waved high to him. He walked over to you and gave you a hug.

MinSeok: you look awful! Are you sure you're alright?

You: yep. I'm just a bit tired. filming for the new variety show was really hard.

MinSeok: ahhhh i see. You should get some rest then. Let me do most of the DJing today.

You: We will see.

MinSeok: by the way, before I forget, we need to record something.

You: what is it?

MinSeok: you know that JongDae's birthday is tomorrow right?

You: yeah

MinSeok: we need a clip of you saying happy birthday to him. that's all

You: but wouldn't your fans hate me for it?

MinSeok: they have already accepted you as our sister in law. I'm sure it will be fine.

You grabbed your mirror so you could slightly touch up on your make up. MinSeok laughed when you did that. Then you prepared yourself as MinSeok recorded you. Since you know this will be broadcasted to his fans as well as him, you were extra careful with your words. You rehearsed it with MinSeok before recording.

You: Our SM honey voice Chennie Chennie JongDae oppa. I sincerely wish you a happy birthday. Of course, you will be the next golden voice in SM. Does everyone agree?

MinSeok (in a girly high pitched voice): yes

You: Does everyone enjoyed the cake that JongDae oppa baked?

MinSeok (in a girly high pitched voice): yes

You: exactly! Hope that JongDae oppa will keep that kind hearted soul with him. Ummm. Sorry that we couldn't meet up as often as you want to. Sorry that you have to keep worrying about my health. I'm sure growing old haha. ummmm I'm sure your fans all agree to this but whenever you smile, all my stress level, my concerns and worry will be gone. You're like an angel, picking every single of my negative thoughts and throwing them away. Our relationship hasn't been that long, a bit under a year but I have felt that we have been dating for a really long time. JongDae oppa, have fun with your fans.
