Chapter 38 - Solo Debut

It has 7 months since that incident. Luckily, you recovered quickly. You were back in your feet after a month. Although a lot of fans were worry about your health, you reassured them that you were fine. You took 6 months off and did few promotion as you focus on your studies. Hence, when Girls Generation were in japan for a promotion, you were absent. When Girls Generation-TSG promote their song "holler," you were there for the music shows only. You weren't there for the interviews or the promotions of the song. You feel apologic towards your fans but they understand how you feel. The first time that the public see you rejoin your group was when Girls Generation had a Japanese concert on 9th December 2014. This was after your exams. all of your members cried when they sang "Into the New World." You tried really hard not to cry. You manage not to cry in front of your fans along with TaeYeon. However, when the concert finished, both of you spill into tears. The two of you cried nonstop and even cuddle each other to sleep. After the concert, everyone was busy with their solo activities. Some of the members also requested to have a holiday as they haven't had a break for so long. You however, were working on your solo debut. You're releasing a song called "Good Day." Honestly speaking, you have been practising this song since 2013. You worked hard towards your solo debut. SM also think this is the right time for you to debut. JongHyun had his solo debut at the start of the month so today was your opening showcase. For your mini-album, KyungSoo, BaekHyun and JongDae did a duet with you. It was the same song but in three different languages. JongDae sang in Chinese. KyungSoo sang in English while BaekHyun sang in Korean. In regards to your relationship with JongDae...you guys have been seeing each other less. since he has a world tour, he has been flying all around the world...mostly to South Eastern countries. He did buy you a sovenir to every country he goes. You didn't expect him to come to your showcase because he said that he was on holidays with the rest of the members. KyuHyun was your special MC for the night. He tries to make the conversation flow.

KyuHyun: how does it feel being the first one from Girls Generation to have a solo debut?

You: really nervous. However, I believe that "Good Day" is a song that is suitable for me. It suit my age.

KyuHyun: do you rather do solo promotions or group promotions?

You: It depends. Sometimes, I miss my members a lot since i'm debuting by myself. However, at the same time, I'm glad because I get to keep the income to myself.

The audience laughed. They really like your honesty.

KyuHyun: do you know anyone that is coming here to support you tonight?

You: no actually besides you oppa. Everyone else said they were too busy. Some of them are even on holidays at the moment.

KyuHyun: ahhhhhh I see. Let's get to the fan's Q and A session. Before the fans came in, we told them to write a question they really want to ask GaHeun. It can be anything as Gaheun promise that she will be honest for this promotion and not lie.

KyuHyun was drawing the questions from the lot. You were smiling and waving at the fans.

KyuHyun: first question: "GaHeun-ar. We all know that you focus a lot on your studies after your injury last year. Are you feeling better? Can you tell us about your results?"

You: ahhhh. Firstly, I'm feeling a lot better. If I wasn't better, I wouldn't be standing up here seeing everyone now. As for my academic results....let's just say that they weren't bad.

KyuHyun: why???

You: oppa. It's too embarrassing to say it.

KyuHyun: I'm the son of the principle of your school. Should I say it?
