Chapter 12 - Busted

You: Hey~Yea~~

You were in the vocal room, practing for the last time before your sub group debut stage tomorrow. You weren't as nervous as when your other sub group, Girls Generation-Pure, debuted. This is because your group is going for the pure and innocent image. After you finish singing, you stopped the music and grabbed your bottle of water. You decided to take a break. You put on What is Love by EXO-M to relax yourself. You feel slightly relaxed when you hear JongDae's voice. As you closed your eyes and drift off to the music, there was a knock on the door.

You: come in.

BaekHyun walked into the vocal room as you paused your music.

You: BaekHyun oppa. What brings you here?

BaekHyun: nothing. I was using the vocal room next door and heard someone shouting "Yeah yeah yeah" and wonder who it is. Didn't thought that it was you.

You: stop playing around! You know that that's my part in the song.

BaekHyun: true. Are you nervous?

You: no. Not really. I'll be on stage with you but just different times.

BaekHyun: I finally get to see sunbaenim perform on stage. I wonder how it will go.

You: Stop calling me sunbaenim. I hate it when you call me that.

BaekHyun: I know. I just call you that to annoy you.

Both of you laughed. Then your phone rang to indicate a message came through. You grabbed your phone to see who it was. BaekHyun looked it and decided to ask you some questions.

BaekHyun: It's funny how ChanYeol, JongDae and you all like rilakkuma.

You: that's because it's cute. You should start liking it as well.

BaekHyun: never!

You read your message and laughed. It was from JongDae, telling about his stupid stuff.

Text Message from JongDae:

JongDae: Heol! Tao's making us shower with him again. It's so annoying T.T We all rushed to the door and I was the slowest so I end up showering with him T.T Why does he still need someone to shower with? He's a grown man. By the way, Are you still singing?

BaekHyun looked over to see what you're laughing at. He laughed too when he read the message. You decided to give him a quick response before putting your phone down.

Text message to JongDae:

You: hahahha! BaekHyun and I are laughing really hard. I'm taking a break and BaekHyun came in to talk with me. I'll talk to you later. Have fun with Tao! 520

BaekHyun was curious with your relationship with JongDae so he started asking you questions.

BaekHyun: So. what is your relationship with JongDae?

What!!! You thought to yourself. Why is BaekHyun suddenly asking me that question? I have to lie all the way. Sigh. i hate lying! I'm never good at it!

You: JongDae...we're...best friends. Just like you. Wh...why did you ask all of a sudden?

BaekHyun: why are you stuttering? There must be something else to it.

Busted! Damn it GaHeun! Why are you so bad at telling lies?!?!

You:We....we are best friends though...just...just like you...and...and...me.

BaekHyun: I don't believe you. A) You have the same lock screen cover as JongDae and I clearly knows that he doesn't like rilakkuma. Only ChanYeol in EXO likes Rilakkuma. He likes teddy bears. B) You smile every time he sends you a message. and C) He sends you love heart emoji. What else is there between you two?
