Chapter 2-He got Casted

You have met your parents and your brother for dinner. It was a rare occasion because you hardly see your brother as he is busy with his promotions. As you knocked on the door, you were welcomed by your brother.

JinKi: ya GaHeun-ar!! I miss you so much! (giving you a really tight hug)

You: oppa! I can't breathe! Let me go! (he lets you go)

JinKi: sorry! I didn't mean to do that! It's just I miss you so much! I hardly see you around SM anymore

You: I hardly see you around as well! I guess it's because of my busy promotions and everything. I heard that SHINee is preparing for their Japanese Debut right?

JinKi: yep! any tips?

You: Just don't say anything. That's what I did. I just sang and let other members answer the questions. SooYoung unnie normally answer them because she knows Japanese.

JinKi: well...i can't do that because I'm the leader, not the maknae like you.

As you guys continue to talk, your mum walked into the lounge room.

Mum: GaHeun! It's nice to see you! Where's JongDae?

Your brother were giving you the looks. He doesn't like the sound of it.

JinKi: JongDae? Your boyfriend? I thought you weren't allow to date in SM. Aren't you scared that you're going to get caught.

Mum: don't be silly JinKi! JongDae is GaHeun's husband. They're doing perfectally fine.

JinKi was shocked. He dropped his glass. He couldn't believe what he had just heard; his sister marrying to a complete stranger. This does not make sense at all, he thought, there's no way that that could happen. Why didn't GaHeun disobey it? Marriage is such a big thing! Suddenly, JinKi grabbed onto your shoulders.

JinKi: GaHeun! Please tell me this is a joke.

you looked down as you could not look at him in his eyes.

You: I wish it was all a joke as well. However, it's not. It's true. Mum and Dad forced me to sign the papers last month.

JinKi was pissed. He didn't understand it at all. He grabbed his stuff and left the house. You called him but he wouldn't listen. Hence, you chased after him. As you were a fast runner, you were able to catch up to him. You held on his arm and drag him to a bench so that you guys can talk.

You: oppa! listen to me! I'm fine. you don't have to worry.

JinKi: no. i'm not a good brother. I couldn't protect you at all. I couldn't protect you from marrying a random that you don't even know. You're a celebrity! You're suppose to marry famous people! Not someone that you don't know. Who is JongDae anyway?

You: Mum and Dad's friend's son. They want their company to merge with their friend's company and the only way that they can do that is if I marry their son. It's not bad so far. We've only seen each other twice; which is when we signed the papers and when he auditioned for SM a couple of days ago. We haven't even spoke to each other once, or texted each other.

JinKi: wait! He auditioned for SM? Was he good?

You: He was really good! His voice was better than yours to be honest. However, SM wants to recruit the other person and hence partly gave up on him.

JinKi: We'll go and talk to Lee Soo Man saesanim about it. I want the company to hire him so that I can see whether he is a good man or not. I want to protect you as much as I can.
