Chapter 10 - It Just Started

8th April 2012.

Staff: Come on boys! Hurry up! You're on in 5 minutes.

JongDae and the rest of EXO-M were rushing on stage. Yes, they are debuting today on the Top Chinese Music Awards. After restless training, they finally make their first appearance on television in China. Before they started, they do their chant. After they performed, they thanked the staff before moving their van. JongDae got his phone out when he got off the car. His home wallpaper is a photo of you and him that you guys took during SBS Gaya Daejun. His lock wallpaper is a photo of your favourite cartoon, rilakkuma. The rest of the EXO-M members tease him for having such wallpaper. However, he didn't care because ChanYeol likes rilakkuma as well. He saw that you have sent him a message.

Text message from GaHeun

You: oppa! congratulations on your debut! DId you remember the Chinese phrase that I taught you? I bet you forgot hehe. I'll watch your performance on YouTube later tonight. Need to practise soon. Talk later. 520 :)

He smiled. 520 is a secret phrase that both of you guys have while texting one another. It's a short cut for saying I love you in manderian. He remembered that the first time you told him, he was so confused that he thought you wanted $520 from him. After you told him what it means, he cherish the meaning more. He opened his album on his phone and started looking at the photos that both of you took, along with BaekHyun, JoonMyun, YingXing and ChanYeol. This was before you guys started dating. He was smiling all along. Unfortuntaely, he was caught by one of the members.

MinSeok: JongDae-ar! Why are you smiling while looking at your phone?

JongDae: Nothing hyung. I'm just looking at the photos that I took with the rest of the members. I miss them a lot.

LuHan: We all miss them. Oh well, we will be seeing them in a couple of weeks, when they come to China for their promotion.

YingXing: yea. Don't be upset JongDae. I'm here for you whenever you feel down.

Although EXO are really close with one another, there are members where they are closer with. For JongDae, he is closer to BaekHyun and ChanYeol than the rest of the members. The three of them are known as the Beagle line, where they play pranks on the rest of the members. Maybe YingXing, JoonMyun and MinSeok as well but he's still building a relationship with them. As they got to their dorm, they went into their rooms to rest. Some went to take a shower. JongDae is roomates with Kris. He wanted to share a room with MinSeok but the managers won't allow the Korean members to stay in the same room. Hence, they have no choice but to split up. Their manager stays in the same apartment as them. It was difficult for him to call you. He waited for everyone to fall asleep, which is roughly 1am. Then he sneaked out and went to the rooftop to call you.

You laid on the floor, exhausted. You have been dancing for the last 4 hours. Your ankle started to feel stiff. Why is it so hard to dance in high heels. Who even invented such shoes? You thought to yourself. You were never good at wearing heels due to your bad ankles (you roll them easily). Hence, dancing with it makes everything harder. You wished that you were back in your debut days, where you wear sneakers to dance instead. You closed your eyes, about to fall asleep. Then your phone rings. You lazily walked up and picked it. You were so tired that you didn't even see who the caller is. You laid back on the phone before accepting the phone.

Phone call:

You: Hello?

JongDae: Wow! You sound really tired.
