Chapter 35 - Cheer Up

After practise

You saw the boys lying on the floor, exhausted. For some, they have been practising since 8am this morning. It us now 1am which means they have practised for approximately 16 hours. EXO-K had fewer hours since they had to do a recording. EXO-M practised for longer. However, they manage to learn the whole concert within that time frame. This is the good thing about EXO. They picked things really easily and can adapt it straight away. You handed them a drink bottle and a towel as they laid on the floor. Before the manager told them to continue to practise, you spoke up.

You: manager oppa. I think that's enough for today. If they keep going, they will kill themselves. They need a break.

Manager: but we don't have enough time...

You: if they don't get enough rest, then the concert is ruined.

Manager: ok then. Tony, what time do you think they should start tomorrow?

Tony: look I have a meeting tomorrow that doesn't go until 10am. So I say 10:30am start?

Manager: ok. You guys come to the studio at 10am for stretching. GaHeun-ar, are you going to talk to them?

You: yes I am. Can you guys all leave? I want to speak to them privately.

The managers and Tony left the studio. You got your phone out and took a photo of them lying on the floor. Then you walked to some of them and wipe their sweat from their forehead. Poor them. It breaks my heart seeing them like this. Reminds me of my trainee days.

You: ummm. Do you guys have enough energy to move? Let's go to the rooftop.

The boys grabbed their jacket and drink bottle and walked to the lifts with you. The lifts arrive at the rooftop. You lead the way and told them to sit on the couch. You sat on the table in the middle because there wasn't any space.

You: the reason why I brought you guys out here is I want you guys to get fresh air. You guys have been in the building for too long. You need to breathe.

You grabbed pens and paper from your bag and hand them out to each member.

You: I want you guys to write something that you want to scream out loud now. Something that's bothering you in your mind. After you have written it, I'll tell you what to do with it.

As the boys think hard and wrote something, you set a fire bon. You out it on the side and then grabbed pen and paper. You also wrote something that has been bothering you.

You: are we all done

EXO: yes

You: good. Now from age order, you will come out and then say what you have written. Then afterwards, throw the paper in the fire. I don't know if this will help you but u hope it does. To be fair, I wrote one as well. I'll start first. "I really hate HyoYeon and Jessica. Why must they always gang up and bully me? I feel really hopeless. I wish they could die."

You threw the paper in the flames. Then you told the members to do the same thing....mostly critising Kris. You could see some of them tearing up. Tao was definitely crying. Everyone shead tears. You went up to JongDae and gave him a hug. You've never seen him cry so much. You kissed him on the cheeks before being distracted by the other EXO members.

SeHun: GaHeun-ar. We're not as lucky as JongDae hyung. Can you give us a hug as well?

You: of course!

JongDae: ya! She's my wife!

You: it's ok JongDae. They all need comfort.

You walked around the circle and gave everyone a hug. You could see that JongDae was really jealous. Afterwards, you moved the flames to the centre of the circle. You got out 12 sticks and 4 packet of marshmallows. You could see they were confused. You showed them by putting a marshmallow on the stick. Then put it on top of the flame and eat it. You were surprised to see their shocking face.
