Chapter 9 - Farewell

Today is EXO's first showcase. It also means that it's the last time you will see YingXing and JongDae until they finish their promotions in china. Everyone in SM went to EXO's showcase. LeeTeuk was selected as the MC for the night. You were sitting next to your brother, JinKi and RyeoWook. Your other members went and look for their own group of friends to sit with. As you waited for the show to start, you were talking to RyeoWook.

You: Oppa!  You didn't tell me that your cousin is debuting under EXO.

RyeoWook: he didn't want anyone to know. That's why

You: he's really good at singing. Very talented.

RyeoWook: same genes you know...just like you and JinKi.

Before you knew it, the show started. You can tell that they were very nervous. Some of them were even shaking. You smiled heaps as they danced. They finally debuted. You thought to yourself. Some were training for ages. Others just trained for a short period of time. Hope that they will become successful. As they finished, you all applaud and then left the venue. Your manager and security guard guide all of you to your allocated vehicle. There was a congratulations party for EXO on their debut which everyone is attending. However, since there will be a lot of drinking, and it was held at a bar, you weren't allow to go due to being underage. Hence, you got into one of the cars where they take you back to the company to practise for your sub group debut. You said goodbye to JinKi and the Kyu line before leaving.

As the EXO members got off stage, they were talking to one another.

JoonMyun: OMG! We finally did our first performance on stage. It was the scariest thing ever.

ChanYeol: finally! We're going to debut! I'm so happy.

BaekHyun: finally! My dreams will become true.

The Korean members saw their family members. They went up to them to give them a hug. JongDae saw his parents. He went up to them and greeted them. He didn't give them a hug though. He doesn't like his parents a lot and weren't particularly close to them.

Mrs Kim: JongDae! My son! You're finally get to become a super star! I'm so proud off you.

Mr Kim: stop joking around. I rather you work at our company to make money instead. By the way, where's GaHeun?. Both of you didn't come to your one year anniversary dinner.

JongDae: Shut up dad. You're suppose to keep it a secret.

Mr Kim: Why? It is true that both of you guys are....

Then, Mr Kim was stopped by JinKi's appearance.

JinKi: ah! You must be JongDae's parents. My name is Lee JinKi. Also as Onew; the leader of SHINee. Nice to meet you.

He bow to JongDae's parents.

JinKi: you must be really proud of your son's debut.

Mrs Kim: yes. We really are

Mr Kim: stop giving the bull crap. We rather that he works in our firm and rise high to become a successful businessman than some kind of stupid idol.

JinKi: then in that case, please leave immediately. We do not welcome those who do not support their child with their dreams.

JongDae: Hyung... ..

Mr Kim: what gives you the rights to do that?

JinKi: you must have forgotten me Mr Kim. Let tell introduce myself again. I'm Lee JinKi, also known as Onew; leader of SHINee as well as the leader of the Lee siblings. My younger sister is Lee GaHeun, which I believe has some kind of relationship with your son.
