Chapter 26 - Pain

You were feeling better. During the time you were sick, JongDae will come to your dorm and visit you, occasionally sleeping there as well. TaeYeon didn't mind although she wakes him up to tell him to go back to his dorm so that he can have a better rest. You could see that JongDae was slightly sick but didn't dare to say anything. He was flying to China today with the rest of the group for a recording. You finished your practise and then head back to the dorm. As you walked out of the company, he called you.

Phone call with JongDae

You: Hello?

JongDae: Jagiya

You: yes oppa

JongDae: are you feeling better?

You: I'm alright. It's cold but I'm wearing a lot of clothes.

JongDae: ya! Did you just finish practise? It's so late!

You: I can't help it...

JongDae: hurry up and get home. You won't want to catch another cold.

You: I know i'm getting home now.

While you guys talked, you heard him coughing on the phone. You know that he's sick, and the flight to and from Seoul and China isn't helping him.

You: oppa. Are you ok?

JongDae: *cough* I'm ok.

You: don't lie to me. Go to sleep now. I'll talk to you next time.

JongDae: do you want to sleep?

You: I'm going to take a shower and then go to bed. I'm tired.

JongDae: ok. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Love you jagiya.

Both of you hanged up. You felt bad because he has caught your cold due to taking care of you. You didn't want it to spread to any of his members because it's hard working with a cold. I hope he feels better. Please.

Staff: JongDae! Hurry up!

EXO-M were at the CCTV building for a recording. JongDae felt really heavy. He feels that he could hardly move around. However, he still needs to dance and sing. Thank god is lip singing. He thought to himself. He feels too sick to sing. YingXing walked over to him and helped him.

JongDae: Thanks Hyung

YingXing: are you sure you're ok?

JongDae: I feel really sick but we still have to do this recording

YingXing: did you catch GaHeun's cold?

JongDae: think so but it's worth it because I could take care of her.

YingXing: you're so silly. You should have let me do it since I have the healing power. You're just thunder.

JongDae: no. I don't want any other man to touch her even though you're her cousin.

The two boys join the rest of the members on stage. The rest of the members could see JongDae struggling. Although he feels sick, he still tries his best when he dances. He didn't wanted his fans to worry. During the interview, he leans against MinSeok for support. MinSeok put his arm around JongDae. It was perfect because they have the same height. After the interview, JongDae was helped off stage by MinSeok and LuHan. His manager rushed to then when they got off the stage and helped him. At the waiting room, his manager gave him some medicine. He was sweating a lot.
