Chapter 4- Meeting Others

It has almost been 2 months since you and JongDae last met up. Due to your busy schedule, you cannot meet him. Hence you guys normally text each other. You were constantly travelling to and from Japan in order to promote. Also, you had to keep up with your studies. You have consider dropping out of school but your parents won't let you. Luckily, you were very smart and were able to remember everything after reading it once. You're also very good at maths and hence always get 90%+ in maths exam and test.actually, you get 90%+ in every subject except Korean. The only subject you struggle with. However, you're improving as you speak it everyday and send messages to members and JongDae. On top of that, you have to prepare for a sub group debut within your group. You are debuting with HyoYeon, SooYoung and Tiffany in July to a song call "Alone". It was a sexy concept and SM wants to see whether sexy concepts are acceptable in the industry. Your sub group is called Girls Generation-Pure. It is random but it works at least. Since "alone" have many high notes, you constantly visited your vocal teacher in other reach those high notes. This day, you walked in and was surprised to see BaekHyun there instead.

You: BaekHyun-ssi. Is it your turn to practise with HyoMin sunbaenim?

BarkHyun: HyoMin sunbaenim is not here today. She's sick. I came in here to practise myself.

You: don't you have other schedules.

BaekHyun: no. This is the last one for today and she's not here. JongDae said he is going to come here after he finish his dance practise. He got dropped from level 3 to level 2. He's in the same level as ChanYeol now. Pretty funny huh.

You laughed. You remember how JongDae complained that he was in the same dancing class as ChanYeol and JooMyun instead of BaekHyun. You did tell him to not give up because a lot of idols debut at level 2 dancing as they have strong vocals. For example, JinKi oppa debut at level 2 dancing as he was at level 6 singing and level 5 languages. Then you have an idea while you wait for your manager to call you.

You: if you don't mind, can you please judge me? I need to know how to improve the high notes. They're really hard to hit.

BaekHyun: Sunbaenim! It's too much of a burden to judge you.

You: don't worry about it. I'm sure you will be able to help me out. I take feed backs and comments so I know how to improve. I don't think I'm 100% perfect.

BaekHyun: you know...you are the best singer in Korea. You are known as the Nations Foreign Friend with one of the most powerful vocals.

you: please! Just listen to me. I'll call you oppa.

BaekHyun: fine. If that makes you happy

You:yay!!

After you celebrate, you plug your iPod into the speakers. You got out the music sheets and gave a copy to BaekHyun. BaekHyun looked shocked when he saw the music sheet.

BaekHyun: wow! Theses notes are extremely high. When are you recording this song.

You: in a couple of days. After that, we have to shoot the MV. Luckily this is a digital sale and this will be the only song that we will be recording as a group. Actually, I think there is another song but it's not as high. That's lucky or else I would have died.

BaekHyun nodded. Wow. He thought. She has to work so hard. I wonder does she have any time to sleep anyway. You started singing. You had to sing quite a lot of parts...approximately 50% of the song, not including the chorus. However, there was one part where you cannot hit and felt slightly embarrassed. After signing the song, BaekHyun applaud you. You stopped him.

You: don't need to. I couldn't hit the high pitch.

BaekHyun: mind if I help you? My vocal teacher used to teach me a way to hit high notes. I usually struggle to hit high notes, just like you.
