My call ended as I avoided getting hit, seeing the Prince Phoenix manor in the distance. I thought of Virgil, my husband waiting for me to return so that we can get proper sleep together tonight

I reached the house, using the Prince's Palace lair entrance as to not disturb the town. My blood stained suit went away as I got exchanged with my red bathrobe.

L0G4N, my assistant/butler/robot, told me where Virgil is in the house tonight. A pair of white fluffy pants and a red t-shirt saying Prince in gold font was handed to me to wear for sleeping

I put on the pants, not bothering with the shirt to wear but I sprayed it many many times with my cherry and roses purfume. Virgil has a habit of stealing my hoodies or t-shirts whenever I'm out doing my job so I wanted to make it carry my scent personally

I thanked L0G4N and placed him in his charging square, leaving him and the palace empty and dark when I turned off the lights

I followed L0G4N's instructions on where Virgil is. I found him on the couch, our comforter from our bed was over his head and covering his pretty eyes. I kept hearing sniffles, like how someone is smelling something

Darling? I'm home

I heard a small rustling from the comforter, revealing Virgil's beautiful eyes all red. I opened up my arms, Virgil immediately sat in my lap, his tear stained cheeks were fading. I held him close as I helped dry his tears

I could tell that he's taking in my signature scent more so I held up the discarded t-shirt. He makes adorable grabbing hands as I smile and hand him my shirt. He breathes in the fragrant roses and cherries smell as I try to fix his vibrant purple hair by running my fingers through it

Virgil leans up and kissed my cheek

Sorry for coming back this late, work was long today. You must have missed me and was worried. Everyone else at HQ says hello

Virgil nods his head, I was able to sense his Anxiety and Paranoia settling down as his pretty eyes closed. I smiled and picked him up bridal style, bringing us upstairs to our room
